My apartment managers are nice. It's not so much money problems as it is bank problems, resulting in a bounced check and way overdue payments, ugh. So irritating. I was a big ball of stress last night when I got the 24-hour notice last night, since I wasn't sure how much I needed to pay, and the office is usually closed by the time I get home. So I suddenly freaked out, shoulders got all knotted, even went on the verge of tears. It was pretty bad, mostly because I have an overactive imagination sometimes that likes to crank out worst-case scenarios.

But everything was actually fine, and friendpersondan laid it out very plainly, and I felt much better after chatting with him (thank youuuuuuuuu!). Sometimes it's nice to just vent about everything on your mind. And then relate ridiculous moments of childhood. It's hard to vent sometimes, you know? People have this general opinion that I'm always positive and cheerful, and I hate changing that. That's a good opinion, I think! But I've got my days, and last night was one of them. I am better now.

So work is going well. I'm still trying to eat healthier, so I brought two apples and a bag of cherry tomatoes to snarf whenever I started to get hungry before or after lunch. The bad thing is, fruits and vegetables don't fill you up. Ever. At least they don't for me. I devoured all those tomatoes right off the bat, and one of the apples got horfed before I even got on the bus. The other is not likely to last the day, muwah ha ha ha ha!

Tonight I need to roll up my sleeves and get everything clean, so tomorrow I can pack a suitcase for my trip, just so I don't end up rushed on Monday. I leave at 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning, and configuring the bus and MAX ride in there, I'm going to have to get up freakishly early. Eve wahhhh. It sure will be nice to see everyone again. I'm hurrying as fast as I can on my cross-stitch, I'd like to give it to Shane as a good luck present before he goes. Chinese dragons are good luck and all, and he was born in the year of the dragon, SO! Gotta finish it. It's slow going, but I can really see it taking shape now. I'm really having fun!

EDIT: As far as the computer goes, it seems to have settled down for the most part. It hasn't restarted itself in over a day now. But I'll still be on hiatus, since I'll pretty much be unavailable until after Memorial Day. But I'll be back with a vengeance! And a new app for Videoland to boot. :3

Anyway, Year 11s are leaving (except for when they come back and do exams)
And our year get study leave from the end of this week, but we have to come back in June and start A2s.
Mini-Shona's upset, we're all going to leave her (she's in Year 9)
We decided a photo of all of us was in order (because while the Year 11s can get friendship photos done with the school photos, cross-age friendship groups need not apply...)

Shona is unreasonably photogenic, damn her. Actually, scratch photogenic, gorgeous. It's highly unfair - she eats the most out of any of us, and she's skinny as a rake.

Soooooo... after reading chapter 103, there was one little thing that kinda bugged me... in stark_black's "I Come to You in Pieces," there's this one scene, and I, desperate to mke it even more canon than it could be, decided I had to write this. So I did. Then, of course, making sure it was ok to post, I sent it to stark, got her blessing, and now I shall post it here!

Thanks: Thank you to stark for letting me post this and also for getting me into Bleach in the first place. No, really! See, I loved 'Memories' so much that I wanted to read more of her stuff, so I scrounged around on her LJ, but it was mostly this one big long fic that was a Bleach pairing... eventually, I got so desperate that I read it anyway despite only having watched maybe 3 episodes of Bleach and having a general knowledge about the series. Then, after getting current in the fic, I decided it would be best if I actually understood who these people were and what was going on, so I watched Bleach (skipped the filler, naturally), then read up to the current spot in the manga. So. *bows* Thanks to stark! go read her stuff if you haven't, even though if you haven't already then you are psycho...

( Not even 115 years could fade the memories of that horrid day... )
