09:48 pm: I love my kids--isn't that good?
Got an Rx increase at the shrinks. ^__^ Apparently, my crankiness of the last week could mean trouble? Alas, too much of a good thing sometimes makes me (literally) vomit. Hope this turns out ok. 

Posted parts four and five of Diaspora today and am already wanting to write more. No anti-depressant or anti-convulsant ever has any effect on my hyper-graphia. Don't know if that's a good thing or bad.

Children have been brats today but I love them so much. They tell you that your life will change when you have kids. Wrong. Life as you knew it disappears. They say that to have a child is to forever have your heart walking outside of your body. If that means you never thought you could love another person more than yourself and put another person's needs totally beyond yourself, then that's close to true. Sometimes I wish people knew what it was like--people who don't have kids, that is (or want them--those that don't want them--sometimes I wish I were you ...and less exhausted!)

There's no real explaining the experience. If you don't know it, imagining yourself as a parent is like imagining yourself as a silicon life form on another planet. It's so strange, so always strange and you can never imagine how strange. It's like having this demanding, willful, time-consuming monster tumor come out of your body and you love to look at it and coo and would give your life, kill, beg, or steal for its sake.

Sophie graduates synagogue-school kindergarden this week. Asher continues to be the most unfailing polite and kind little boy I've ever known and I don't deserve him (ah but Sophie makes up for it, though! XDXD)

yep. Girls are a year earlier usually--at age 12. Sophie knows a little Hebrew already and can write her name in Hebrew. *is proud*

I'm glad that your anti-depressants don't have any affect on your hyper-graphia.

Have you ever read 'Something Happened', by Joesph Heller, because your last sentence reminds me of that story. If you haven't, don't. It's probably better that way.

yea, it's on of my faves. It was very unexpected. When I told my mother about the book, she started to cry.

OMG. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your icons. Especially the Samurai Champloo one above. That is just absolutely adorable! You should have her make one for Bleach.

Hello! I'm not very good with words here, so please bear with me. *clears throat, cracks knuckles* Okay I'm ready:

I've been reading and writing fanfic myself for about four years, having limited my interests to FFNET and Lj to the FFX-2 fandom. I've met wonderful, talented people that I covet more than friends I physically see everyday. I've always been into gaming and anime before I came here, but it's just so awesome to have people to share it all with, you know?

Lately I'm in the middle of writing three fanfics for FFX-2, but in between all that I'm VERY into the Naruto anime/manga. Have you seen it yet? if not, you should, but not the TV version. Get the Japanese dubs, it is SO much better [actually I find the Japanese versions to be the best anyway, although quite a few of the first anime's I'd ever seen were English and weren't *too* bad].

I'm getting off topic- Yikes!!

So, I never used to go on AFFNET, but lately I've been in the Naruto section, and since I'm a Bleach fan as well I've made my way over there when Lo and behold! I find your fanfics of Ishi/Hime and they are all so very awesome and well written! I just wanted to tell you that, and I've read your profile on your homepage, and although we don't really have *too* much in common aside from mutual loves for anime and fanfiction I'm here asking if I may be a friend to your Lj.

I'm not a mean person; I don't start fights, I don't criticize others for their opinions, I'm pretty open to most things, and I try to be a good friend. I write when I can, but sometimes my life gets in the way. I do, however update my journal frequently for some reason, lol.

Anyway, if there is anything else you would need to know about me before you decide just ask away!

If not- then I totally understand. I have a small handfull of friends on Lj; most of them I chat with everyday at one point or another. I'm not the type to just friend people on the fly, and certainly don't want to overstep any boundaries or impose.

Awwww, I like you already. I said just yesterday that my friends list was getting heavy and maybe I should cull it--but you know what? All these people are there for a reason. Either I found her/him interesting or vise versa and no one is under any obligation to answer all posts.

Oh forgot to answer your question. My love for Naruto comes and goes, but I stay more-or-less faithful. I watched all the filler eps in one sitting and intend to do that with the fillers currently airing for Bleach.

I've drawn Hinata, Sasuke, and Kakashi. I really need to draw them more. I honestly can't write them,though--I'm too into Bleach.

LOL! I understand totally. I haven't written any Bleach fics yet, and I've only written one Sakura/Lee; I'm still rooted in X-2 I guess. I'm working on that though, lol!
