Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
The sweetest thing happened to me today. I feel compelled to share this incident. My sixth grade class came into my room singing happy birthday and they gave me a card that they had all signed. I was charmed from my head to the tip of my toes. I often get cards and gifts from students during general holidays. This is the first time they had given something just to me. Kids can be so sweet sometimes.

Yes it was. Makes all the work and frustration of being a teacher worth it.

Gah! I missed it! I've had the date written on a card on my desk since last fall, but then we're moving the home office around and things are spread between two rooms and.... bah.

Hope it was a happy one.
