Hey. It's been a while. How're you? I'm pretty busy, honestly.
- I recently got a job in the city that pays $5 more an hour than my old job, with OK hours. It seems I left just in time too, since the printer died, and my boss was trying to screw over an operator(AND they still didn't give me vacation pay, but whatever). I like the new job lots, but something tells me I could have pried for an extra dollar or two. I digress...
- I'm currently taking online courses(which I should REALLY be studying for, since I'm nearly a WEEK behind when I promised myself I wouldn't be).
- I'm keeping an eye on the renter's market, since I still plan to move out soon. I'm looking for room shares on Staten Island near the ferry and above mid-Island. Bay Ridge, Brooklyn is ideal, since I could potentially get a car and have a parking space, and be close to home. I'm trying to keep it reasonable within my means of income(estm. $1750/m with the new job), so I'm eyeing places within the $450-$550 range, and boy, are they
slim fucking pickings. I do have a max price range, but I won't get into that right now.
As far as upcoming stuff goes:
- next week, 11/29/07 at 5pm, I'm going to Jim Hanely's for the Armory Wars signing. Claudio(he of Coheed and Cambria fame) will be there, so if anyone wants any signatures and other stuff, please let me know NOW.
- plans for NEC next weekend are up in the air. depends on how my schedule works out.
- the weekend after THAT, Dec 6th-9th, will be NYAF. I won't cosplay, but I do plan to go.
