Only in Hollywood — and Cannes. At a party for Hunger Games: Catching Fire at the French film festival on May 18, star Jennifer Lawrence nearly, well, caught fire when a plate of candles, perched on a tall column, fell almost on top of her head!

According to Just Jared, Lawrence and her costar Liam Hemsworth "were sitting on a sofa in the VIP section of the party when all of a sudden, an 8-foot column with a platter of candles on top fell on top of them.They both jumped up when it happened and thankfully no one was hurt. Liam and Jennifer both seemed pretty calm about it and laughed it off.”
While Lawrence avoided getting ignited, the 22-year-old stunner was still smoldering hot at the fest. The actress hit the premiere of Jimmy P. in a white and black strapless color-block gown by Christian Dior, naturally; Lawrence is the face of Dior. Jimmy Choo shoes, Chopard jewels, and bold makeup completed her red-carpet look.
Later that night, at the Hunger Games party where she she nearly played with fire, the Oscar winner changed into a strapless white dress with a floral detail on the side, again by Christian Dior. Bright pink Manolo Blahnik stilettos added a pop of color.

January Jones has remained mum on the identity of her son’s father — and she intends to continue doing so.
“That’s my son’s business,” January told The New York Times of 1-year-old Xander‘s father. “It’s not the public’s business.”
And she says a Hollywood legend advised her to remain private.
“Jack Nicholson once told me: ‘You should never give your personal life away, otherwise people will pick you apart. They’ll never believe in your character,’” the Mad Men actress said.
“Women should have lots of secrets,” January added. “It’s our right to have secrets. Otherwise, what would we write in our memoirs?”
The blonde beauty went on to talk fashion. “Most of my choices are my ultramodern and very thought-out,” she said. But the red carpet, meanwhile, “I want to do things that are shocking,” she said.
In many respects she is still the small-town girl with Midwestern common sense.
“I wasn’t brought up with money,” she said. “I don’t think I’d spend more than $150 on a shirt.” She added: “I’m almost O.C.D.,” she said. “You will never find a piece of clothing on my floor. I can’t relax if I’m sitting in a mess.”
As for her sweet son, “His first word was ‘Mama,’ ” the proud mom said. “His second was ‘back,’ ‘cause I keeping saying, ‘Put it back.’ ”
In regards to consuming her placenta, she said, “It was like taking a vitamin blended into a smoothie. I’m a mammal. I nursed. I did all kinds of weird stuff.”

Girl group T-ARA's unit group, T-ARA N4, visited L.A. for 4 nights and 5 days and talked with famous U.S. producers and artists.
T-ARA N4 met up with Chris Brown as well as producing team, 1500 or NOTHIN and talked about possible U.S. promotions.
Today the group held a press conference in Korea to reveal more in detail about what happened during their stay in L.A.
T-ARA N4 first met up with Chris Brown and later was invited to the YouTube networking office. They also visited the famous shoe brand, VLADO and held a surprise fan sign meeting. They also was able to meet Lilceaser, who was a famous choreographer for Madonna and Mariah Carey. They also talked about music and other possible event with producers 1500 or NOTHIN for over 7 hours.
They also stated that they plan on releasing their song, "Countryside Diary" worldwide with featuring done by Chris Brown, T-Pain and more. Hyomin commented, "We will be releasing 5 different versions of this song and target international countries. We've currently finished recording the music video for one of the versions."
T-ARA N4 will also be opening for Chris Brown's solo concert and will be leaving to the U.S. again on May 25. They were also invited to next month's BET awards and will walk on the red carpet.
Eunjung commented, "We were first able to know Chris Brown because member Dani had talked about our new song to him. He then later watched out music video and began to gain more interest. 1500 or NOTHING also heard some of our other songs as well. We hope that this may lead to debuting in the U.S. This is all thanks to the power of K-Pop. Please continue to support us."

Yes, Ke$ha wore a little black dress to the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, but it wasn't exactly a conservative getup.
The fashion-forward singer went commando!
"I'm rolling with my booty out," she told me. "It's a different look for me. I like to mix it up."
"I wanted to be really naked in every sense of the word, so I went bare with the makeup, bare with the booty," Ke$ha said.
And Ke$ha gave us an update on her friendship with Harry Styles. As we first told you, she and the One Direction singer have been texting pals.
"We're just casual friends," she said. "That blew way out of proportion...Yeah, we text. It's a friendly text. I text a lot of people."
But are they all as hot as Styles?
"He's an attractive young man," Kesha said. "What's not to love?"

A fan favorite is leaving Genoa City behind.
Michelle Stafford is leaving the long-running CBS soap The Young and the Restless after 16 years, a source close to the show exclusively tells E! News.
Stafford's exit follows the recent passing of beloved Young and the Restless star Jeanne Cooper, whom the show will pay tribute to with a special on Tuesday, May 28.
Nominated seven times for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Leading Actress in a Drama Series category, Stafford took home the award in 2004. She also won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1997.
Stafford recently shot a retrospective video in honor of her show’s 40th anniversary (see clip below).
When she first started on the sudser, “I was actually told that I would be recurring and that I would only be on for six weeks,” she says in the spot, smiling. “But I knew in my mind that that wasn’t going to happen.”
Stafford played fan favorite Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless. After joining the show in 1994, she left in 1997 before returning in 2000. (Her role was taken over by Sandra Nelson.)

Lindsay's not exactly known for being the most prompt person in the world, and Gavin was the one who had to break the news to her producer and director when she was running late (every lost hour of filming bleeds major money from the film's budget). "There were a few times when they'd take it out on me," he said. "After awhile you don't want to seem like the person who's always making excuses." So to avoid getting bitched out, Gavin developed a complex system to wake LiLo up every morning and get her where she needed to be. In addition to setting multiple wake-up calls at the Chateau Marmont, where they were staying, he'd head to a bagel shop in Beverly Hills at the crack of dawn to get her favorite breakfast of bagels and eggs, turn on all the lights in her room, noisily pack her bag, and play top 40 music or indie rock from her iPod. "There were days when we'd shot for 18 hours and had to be on set five hours later and she was exhausted so she'd say, ‘give me 20 more minutes to sleep,'" Gavin says. "I bribed her with breakfast."

What a graduation present.
On the day Skylar Diggins graduated from Notre Dame, she was presented with a new Mercedes by Roc Nation, the company founded by Jay-Z that represents her. "I got 99 problems but a BENZ ain't one," a tweet on Diggins' account said, riffing off a Jay-Z hit. Jay-Z was a former part-owner of theBrooklyn Nets, but he divested himself of that interest to start a sports-representation agency. Diggins is among his first high-profile clients, who also include the Yankees' Robinson Cano and Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. Diggins was an All-America guard for the Fighting Irish who was taken third overall in the WNBA draft by the Tulsa Shock.

Paris Hilton's boyfriend lost his composure and aggressively pushed a female fan who got too close to the heiress in Cannes on Friday ... not once, but TWO TIMES, and it was all caught on tape.
The scene was utter mayhem -- Paris and River Viiperi were fighting through crowds of paparazzi to get into a party ... when one overzealous female fan got too close.
River -- clearly pissed off -- got physical with the woman and forcefully shoved her away ... but the lady kept coming back for more. Paris finally snapped too and yelled at the woman to leave her alone -- but the woman didn't exactly comply.
Paris and River also went off on a security guard who tried to get handsy with Paris. Don't worry, the couple eventually made it to the party ... and balance was restored to the universe.Sourcethat fan was nuts/trolling but he could've handled it better |
