BioMy name is Robin. I was born and raised on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I am an MA candidate at Dalhousie University in Halifax, in the field of Early Modern Italian History. I'm planning on finishing my degree by next summer, and go from there.
My favourite animals are horses. There are two horses in my family. My first, my best friend, is a fourteen year old Quarter Horse gelding named "Cassidy Sierra Leger". His barn name is Booker. He is sorrel, which is a copper colour, with a white stripe on his face and three white legs. He stands about 15.2 hands high (5'2 or so, on the top of his withers) and weighs about 1300 pounds. The second, a new acquisition, is a weanling Quarter Horse colt named "Pinch Me Quick." My younger sister and I are going to train him together, and hopefully he will become her best friend, just as Booker has become mine.
I absolutely love school, and most of the things that go along with it. I love learning new things and meeting new people. I discovered that I have a passion for things such as History, Psychology, and the Italian language in my first year of university. I love meeting people who also share a passion for those subjects.
This journal will be mainly a daylog of my activities. Probably not too interesting outside those who actually want to know what I'm up to, and those people are few. You are warned that it may be boring. =)
