| Bio: | You see, the world is so often hard and cruel. But beneath the rock, the granite expectations, and laws they try to chain us to, there is a fire, a raging searing flame kindled by all the passions human beings have a need to feel. It’s strong, and uncommon people set it higher than the laws of man, because true emotions, true passions, are eternal. Did you ever run a faucet, and at first the water is so hot that it feels ice cold? That is what the world is like. There is a passion in living, so scalding hot that we sometimes mistake it for icy blankness. We’re like Indian fire walkers, who walk barefoot across glowing coals by psyching themselves into believing they’re cold as ice. So uncommon people walk across passion – the world’s passions and their own passions. The only way they can ever do it is to believe they walk through cold fire. Just to survive, I find myself walking through cold fire: all feeling and poetry on the inside, all fire. And on the outside, icy toughness.
