I'm listening to...: Lamb of God - Nippon
So I quit my job at Rubies. Thank god.
I now work at some other restaurant a little closer to home. It's nicer now that I don't have 3 red lights between me and where I work.
The employees are pretty nice too.
Grandma's been out of town since Wednesday. It's funny how she thinks I'm supposed to throw some huge party at the house with a ton of people.
Living out on the highway in the literal sense and having neighbors kindah makes that difficult.
That and I'm not a party person.
Between the few friends I do have, only 2 ever really come over and it's usually a brief visit. Even when grammy is around.
It's funny how when I got to be this age and be in the situation I'm in, I just stopped caring about how many friends I have. I came to find that having a lot of them isn't really all that important.
Which is pretty much also my view on relationships. I've been single for over two and half years now. I don't really see myself getting with anybody anytime soon, neither do I really care to. I've honestly got better things to do anyway.
I'll stick to the newspapers and books over women. Most of them around here don't really even merit my attention.
Too many rednecks.
Welcome to the armpit of Georgia.
