so I'm relatively stoked.
Going back to Atlanta for a week pretty soon, I just have to get through the weekend and monday or something. Will see if the sushi bars in Atlanta hold anything to Tokyos down here.
srsly u guyz srsly, you gots to try at least once.
but anyway, looking at getting a new gear shift head since the one it came with is kinda worn. I'm thinking eight ball. Cliche?
By now I'm sure I can remember that I have six gears and that reverse is actually to the far left and up now.
I have an interesting hobby.

Hate sticking around for drunk folks. One more day of that next week =_=
sooo yea I'm not dead or anything.
It's not official (and you will not quote me on this or your house may be ashes by tomorrow), but Mel looks like she'll be getting married roughly sometime in half a year. Got herself a British farmer dude.
Which works out because I drive the British car.
speaking of which.
Dropped a K&N cold air intake in it the other day. Works wonders. Love it to pieces.
anyway, class in 30 mins.
Now I know how Eustice felt.

particularly ones I get graded for.
I chose the 5 "Cobalt" ad in some shitty magazine to piss and moan over. Oops, I guess your product isn't so new and interesting after all. It's just your shit ass box and your shit ass price tag. They already got a flavoring for cobalt dumbass. Why not just call it what it is and stop trying to re-market the same shit you already have.
heheh.
mmkay back to work.
This again.

Valentines Day 08. a brief summary of how it went.
started off with the early morning hours of writers block that kept me up all damn night to write about something nobody will ever want to read.
English class consisted of spouting random shit at the teacher about thesis statements on commercials that advertise shit I'll probably never buy.
Math was a 9 problem test thing on whatever those things are called when you add, subtract, multiply, divide a quadratic function over another quadratic function with another pair of similar outcomes or whatever. passing grade expected.
afterwards I ate a sandwich.
two hour nap.
work consisted of constantly being on my feet (literally from the time I got out of my car *roughly 4:40 pm* to the time I got back in my car after I finished my work *roughly 1:20 in the morning*) Filthy assholes filled the place up for hours that seemingly never ended. If buildings could talk, RT would have been screaming rape for over five hours.
so there ya go. Happy Saint Valentine murders people day.
ugh...

why I like writing for the sake of writing.
religion and politics for that matter.
no personal opinions allowed on this one, just showing both sides of the story.
easy 'nuff
'nuff said.
I think I won't sleep tonight at all. I'm part wired/ part not caring/ part "holy shit I'm off of work tonight!"
so it's a grand thing.
I guess.
None of the shithole tonight, more of the "slack off for a bit after school then take a long nap."
friggan sweet.
I'm still not okay, but I should manage.
they damn will

bastards don't even bother with intricate details. Nothing special.
it's your fucking son dipshits. You may have shunned him for what he beleived but that doesn't change that he's your own fucking blood.
and all you self righteous retards who put him down. Fuck each and every last goddamned one of you. Burn in hell.
Call it our nature or call it what you will
automatic, trapped in the undercurrent
presumed an unstoppable force
through the ages spilled onto pages
shine on you nonbelievers
you can call it colossal upheaval
when we wake up from our induced slumber
they can try but they can't conquer us all
compelling evidence out in the open
there's not even anybody to hide it from
what it looks like on the outside constantly
reflects how we perceive it
and it's not always what you think
shine on you nonbelievers
you can call it colossal upheaval
when we wake up from our induced slumber
they can try but they can't conquer us all
knee deep in the belly of the beast
offering us another cut-rate version
of your dream come true
it's still hard to believe

It's odd to think that someone would needlessly waste themselves.
I friend of mine committed suicide the other day. I won't mention his name but I'm quite sure no one reading this would know who he was.
the kindah guy who was generally nice at heart. A mormon convert. Was unaccepted by his own parents for that reason.
and probably all over some old bullshit.
and I'm also sure the vast majority of the mormon population has heard that President Hinckley died around 9pm est. I can't even list all the things this guy has done for humanity and for his own church.
but anycase, I need to sleep, too much shit to do tomorrow.

Am I really that easy to read?
Case being a friend of mine at work was worried because she thought I wasn't myself recently.
I'm just tired more or less in more ways than one.
But someone can usually tell that I am "not myself" when I'm listening to indie, ska or soft rock more than anything else.
it's easier on the head than what I usually enjoy.
I'm just odd evidently.
Off for a evening and a morning straight after. We'll see what happens.

Did anyone by any chance get a copy of the new cake album? Mine smells like grape.
And it's actually pretty good for anyone who enjoys the genre (or the band for that matter). If you don't mind a few cover songs of course. Recommended.
So I was just thinking my English 1102 rubric isn't very helpful. damn.
oh well.

so back to routinish things.
Sorry for lack of updates or general communication. When you are wasting half your day sleeping and the other half working your ass off, you tend to not think about these sort of things.
And traveling. That too.
So on that note I hate traveling. it makes my legs numb and my feet hurt.
so on another note:
The holidays were well, the holidays. Got to see the folks, take a break from keeping a salad bar together for filthy filthy people, annnd sleep in a bit. which is always a plus.
and the vault. \/\/007
I got borders gift cards. somehow wish they would magically turn into a jacket. I could use one of those really soon. I'll probably get one next Tuesday anyway.
so on the list of crap to do:
1: set up LAN in the house
2: cancel NetZero
3: get a loan
4: classes classes classes
5: clean up room/desk
6: fill up the car really soon
I love lists. Dont you love lists? Because I do. We should be friends.
no wait no, no we shouldn't.
I'm hungry.
but anyways.

I'm listening to...: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Wet Sand
so stuff is fine or whatever.
Went back to Atlanta few weekends ago, was the only feasible time the whole month to go, which worked out. Got to see the kids, older bro, everyone pretty much. Had an early thanksgiving.
Then had Tilipia on the actual day of thanksgiving. Then I went to work. joy.
But for the moment everything seems to be going back to more routinish. Getting screwed at work, taking prolonged naps, culminating lung cancer, walking the dog, waffle house and the crack heads.
oh and my Uncle Larry died today. Kindah wish I knew what to feel about that but I don't really know the guy so... eh I got nothing.
off to other things.
onto other things

so I beat Halo 3 the other day.
A few things to say about it.
So first off alot of people were skeptical about it strictly on the idea that it's just too much like the other two games. And yea, they were kind of right. The gameplay is pretty much the same. About the only subtle differences here would be that you're not in fact fighting the Elites and that the flood look like they have flowers growing out of them.
But I was satisfied about it. It was still fun, it stayed to the storyline, it had a few extra weapons and vehicles you could play around with, and it had a decent ending.
And this only because I decided to take a hiatus from MMOs. Onto (finally) beating Half Life 2.
here we goes

So things I have learned while working at Ruby Tuesdays:
Any sort of animosity can be resolved simply by telling the other individual in question that they're just a god damned idiot. Or become a hobo and never talk to anyone so as to save yourself the future grief.
Just because it's a self-proclaimed high end/class or whatever they want to call themselves restaurant/business thing doesn't always mean that they are, in most likely of situations it's a case of some sort of self denial for the feeble minded management.
Management of such places usually put themselves out before other people. Thus nullifying themselves from the few actual intelligent people existent.
And speaking of which, they just plain don't give a shit, although they will do their best to tell you otherwise.
Any sort of raise/hour tweaking can be done by simply saying the phrase "I'm looking around for a different job." This really only applies to be they're afraid of letting go.
You may be a server, but that doesn't give you special previledges, and most likely your intelligence rates somewhere between a boulder and dog shit.
If a store hires you on the spot, it generally means they're desperate for employees and to stay as far away from the vicinity as is humanly possible, because there's usually a reason why they're short on help.
Drama is a part of life being around dumbshit servers. Get used to it.
Washing dishes is perhaps one of the most overpaid and awesome jobs to do.
Apparently Ruby Tuesdays comes before school, family, your future, life. Better get used to the abuse. Unless you're a dickshit manager.
ok well that about covers it. No I haven't quit.... yet. I'm still working on it. And all the better when I finally do.
interesting stuff or whatever goes here

So we started a car club thing or something. I came up with the name somehow. So we are now officially the Slackers and we're goin to NOPI next fall.
so speaking of which, looking at buying an old beat 280 Datsun Z off of some dude up the road. It's in pretty bad shape and may see if he'll take 500 for it. I hope that if I do end up buying it that I can get it decent, up and running by next August.
so on another note.
I never thought of this but I found that I'd be making better money just working two part time jobs 20-30 hours a week. Minimum wage as is, I would be able to tolerate working at another pizza joint and Bank of America is looking for part time tellers here so it's a thought. I'd only be able to take a few classes per semester but it's still doable and I'd imagine my blood pressure would drop significantly :D
it's all a plus.
And I'm getting into sketching at the moment. May start up (soon hopefully) my own little webcomic based and written around myself and the few dudes I hang out with around here. Nothing big. We'll look into it, maybe Dayfreepress will take us in no? =| I guess I'll just have to look into it.
but just some thoughts I need to delve on for the next month.

nothing much new, still job hunting. Developing some high blood pressure and actually snapped at one of the servers that other night that I actually like. Sucks for her.
