I was born 22 years ago in a meaningless town some miles north of New York City. I have lived in the same house since I was two weeks old. I used to be painfully shy as a child and that was why I hardly ever spoke in public. Now its because I just don't care. I have four best friends--three of which I've known since before I could read. They mean pretty much everything to me. The most important person in the world to me is my mom. We're polar opposites and many days I feel like we don't have the same viewpoints on anything. But if she jumps, I jump Jack, and that's all there is to it. I have just recently become motivated in my academic life--dedicating it to psychology. This field means a lot to me, an amazingly good feeling, I must say. I am very easily annoyed. I'm aware of this problem and that it is indeed MY problem. I'm also cynical and sarcastic to a fault. However, I'm a nicer person than I'd like to think I am. I have a love-hate relationship with myself, like most people I suppose. Officially, I am a rational mastermind. |

This journal is friends only. I like knowing who's looking. I'm not accepting any more friends right now (unless we know each other from real life or a community/fandom) so DO NOT FRIEND ME. Yeah, I know I sound harsh, but I like to know that people are actually paying attention to what I say.

If I was ever to describe myself as a 'fan,' the first and foremost title I would take would be Yankee Fan. I was born that way and I will die that way. The New York Yankee pinstripes are in my blood. However, I talk about them sparingly and carefully, because I seem to be a jinx in all matters Yankee. No matter, they are my heart and soul and the source of most of my happiness/unhappiness. I let the wide world of fandom get to me more than it should. This includes music and TV. I will listen to almost any kind of music and my personal favorites are Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Imogen Heap, U2, Kate Havnevik, Snow Patrol, Kate Voegele, Keane, Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, KT Tunstall, Michelle Branch, The Wreckers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Mariah Carey. I take things that happen on TV WAY too personally. There will be endless gushing over Lost and rants about Grey's Anatomy and Smallville. Other shows I currently watch are Supernatural, Private Practice, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, and Desperate Housewives. |
