I've been on LJ for a while and have posted here before a long time ago but I feel lonely so I'll do it again! You can call me Sophia or Angsty xD I'm 16 but I'll be 17 in a few days and I live in southern California. I'm really into anime/manga, but I don't really prefer one over the other right now. I just LOVE video games, RPGs mostly. But I've got a morbid fascination with horror games too. They make me want to sleep with the lights on but I can't stay away x_x

Heya everyone, my name's Vicky and I'm really new to this site. I'm looking for friends who like anime as much as I do. I've seen Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Gundam Seed, Saiyuki, Get Backers, Gakuen Alice, Ouran High School Host Club, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Bleach (some of it), Peacemaker Kurogane, D.N.Angel, Getbackers, Death Note, Tenjo Tenge, Nejima, Midori Days, King Of Bandits Jing, School Rumble, Le Chevalier D'eon, Tsubasa Chronicles and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
I'm not really into manga though if you hav any suggestions I'd be glad to listen, with the same going for doramas and anime.
I'm also into doramas even though I've only seen a couple, and I intend to see many more once I can find the time. I've already seen Peach Girl, Kimi wa Petto and started to watch nobuta wo produce.

There's been a few requests for something like this. So yep, here you go. This post is for open discussion pertaining to..um..well, pretty much any fandom. Not just WCMI and Disney, nononono. The PotO/Star Wars/Pirates/Matrix/Labyrinth/Alien/LotR/Dark Crystal (etc etc) groupies are hereby encouraged to come out of the woodwork and post about their guilty fandom pleasures. Oooor..just talk about the weather. Post your favorite flan recipe. Share work complaints or tell us about the idiot driver who cut you off on the freeway today. Anything goes; think of this as a chatroom. Only..um..slower. =P Just keep it civil and play nice.
Yes, you can ask us WCMI-related questions. Just keep in mind that we're both hella busy and therefore may or may not reply. We may join some of the fandom discussions here and there but our participation will be sporadic at best. So...

So, I actually can do my first test today &hearts! Wooo, and I looked like a genius because I make some fake 'hmm-hmm' noise and nodding all the time (as if I understand the essay problems ;P) then left the room earlier than most of my friends *laughs*.
And I drew AbeMiha on the corner of the paper, lots of AbeMihas (and some angst!HaruAbe), I just hope my prof isn't homophobic or something, because the gay is intense!
I don't know why, I suddenly just miss Ookiku Furikabutte (maybe because Abe is KIMOIII), I listened the soundtrack all the time while I was studying yesterday and amazingly it works, I answered all my essays based on 'Sheisun Line' rhyme inside my head because it was the song I listened to when I reviewed the essay's material.
Ahh, I hope finals end already so I can molest Abe in my NDS again and re-watch all oofuri episodes!!
Also, my copy of Guilty Gear 2 : Overture came todaaaaayyy, NOOOOO!!!!! td4rtae56serfs!!!! I told neutral_lamb to hide it somewhere far away from me so I won't be tempted to play. ;A;, I-I.. *drolls on the cover*, OH MY GOD, THE TEMPTATION IS TOO HEAVYYYY~~~ Se-sekiaaaaa, please hide it well!!! Because I might looking for it instead of studying something :'D.
Now I need to go to take care some papers for my university application, and go back to study. School... freaking school *scoff*. |

Urg. I woke up on Friday to a sore throat and a strange sinus-draining feeling was felt like it was just behind my throat. Not cool. It got worse on Saturday and besides being horribly weak and wobbly, I felt pretty congested. Today has been the worst, with my voice nearly going out this morning and feeling like the train hit me a couple times. Plus, my eyes are going crazy and I've been at the verge of passing out most of the afternoon (from exhaustion, as far as I can tell). ...although it's not like I've been doing things non-stop or anything... I've tried to take it pretty easy today. I went out to get a mocha, and I think the caffeine will hold me over until it's proper sleeping time. I'd take a nap, but I still have work to do today! I guess it's better to get sick now than during Fanime!
Speaking of Fanime, I finally started putting color on Soul Eater. I'll have to have at least three more painting sessions before he's done though... I just colored the red yesterday. Hopefully I'll get the black on tomorrow and the silver on Thursday, then the clear coat on Friday and the detail work on Sunday. The gods of cosplay were not happy with me when I was painting though... I covered a large area outside with newspaper and taped it down, but after the second coat, the newspaper all came undone and flapped over the scythe! Luckily, it was dry enough that it didn't really do any damage. but then the wind kicked up and got dust on the other side when I started to paint it. I ended up shielding the scythe after the final coat, but the wind would magically change directions so I wasn't able to fully protect it. There are mistakes and some trapped dirt and other particles, but I think it turned out generally well. Ugh though, I still have ALL of Maka's jacket to make. T^T
I called my mom this morning, because I call her every Sunday. I wanted to sort of rant about something (I had just gotten out of an argument with a friend), but she kept talking back to me. I told her that I couldn't understand why people were into something, and as much as I tried, I couldn't find enough good things to outweigh what I thought were bad things. I wanted to talk to people about it and see why they love it so much, so I can look for these good things and enjoy it more. I want to like it, I really do. She told me that I really don't, I just want people to tell me things so I can... tell them that they're wrong? I wasn't too sure. I tried to tell her that she was wrong, but she kept interrupting me! So I would raise my voice, and she would hold the phone away and try to talk to me. Sorry, I can't hear you when your mouth is two feet from the phone. She told me that I was at fault (with my mother, almost every problem I run into or have or what-not is entirely my fault) and that I was being stupid and I'm a retard for arguing about such a topic with my friend. I tell her, of course! The argument is dumb! I just wanted to rant! I just wanted to get your opinion on one point! That's all! Can't you play happy mother and just comfort me and be on my side ONCE IN A WHILE? (I didn't say this of course, but I thought it really hard) She got upset at my raising my voice again, so she said "I'M HANGING UP!" Which, since the phone was so far from her face sounded more like "M HA-NG U!!"And then she hung up on me. Well, happy mother's day, mommy. I love you too.
I'll talk more about the thing I got into an argument about later. |

So the names Jonathan and I'm really new here, just joined today, and looking for some people to get to know.
I must admit I'm not into anime a whole lot but I enjoy it. I mostly just catch whatever comes on Adult Swim and Toonami back in the day when it was good. So I like Tenchi, FLCL, Gundam Wing, Full Metal Alchemist, Eureka 7, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Pokemon and Death Note. As far as manga goes I've not read much, just whatever my friends toss at me or I pick up in book stores - so for that I like Ouran and Honey and Clover, Nana is pretty good too. I also like the shows Heroes and The Office.
