I'm finishing the mascot for Sushimonsters.com, another custom bunny  and working on a prelimenary design for the book on Zen I've been asked to illustrate, so I gots no time to put everything up.

PLUS - I'm currently torn between keeping pink hair or going for red.  It's just that the pink is such a pain to put on. Keeping the nearly black roots bleached is a pain as well.

And I'm ordering a Pullip doll this week, but which one - Zuora or Cornice?!?! 

 

All I did today was this, the new logo (I think) and work on my new website layout, which is not up yet. The old one's so boring, it makes me cry. ARGH, I have so much to catch up on, but I feel so crummy. I need workers willing to work for coffee and cheap noodles.

Some new, quick bags..

I had the flu for the last two days, so today I finally got to take her pictures. She's made with felt, Thai dupioni silk, fw pearls, yarn and wires in her arms, tail, etc. Have you seen the movie Marebito (Stranger From Afar) ? The character F is who I think of when I imagine my non-human dolls personalities..

I picked up some metal hair clips, if anyone is interested in these for the animals.

She was mostly made from 1-6 a.m. the other day - I wish I could start projects in the early afternoon instead.. She’s handsewn with felt and has unraveled wool yarn hair. I’ve made some of her clothes, but thought she’d look cute and nymph-like in the garden with her felt flowers.

I have a whole bunch of new felt animal pins designs to do if I can find the energy to make them, I'm so tired lately!  

I bought cute little buttons tonight, but enough, I want piles! I'll search on Etsy tonight for cool ones..

But, the big thing here is that mi_chi_ru is so smart!! I love gantai (eyepatches), but would I have ever thought of a gantai-gantai? Not for a while at least ;p Anyways, I whipped this up tonight - it has a cotton lining and the patch is not sewn to the elastic, so you can move it to which ever eye you want, reposition it easily, etc. This one is not quite done yet, I have to finish sewing the bottom up - so it may seem a little lumpy.

I'm afraid my tension on my machine is shot again.  I can't sew lightweight material without loose stiches. Which is what I am using for my commission right now *argh, of course*  I think it'll have to go to the shop.  That's the only problem it's ever had and it's from 1978, like me, just a baby..

So I have stopped smoking as of 2 days ago - I smoked for 10 years, so I think I will save my money now, lol.  Good thing though is I have lost 3 pounds, instead of gaining.  And I have the most horrible attitude too ^__^//    So I am stressed out from that, have two custom orders, just finished 3 others, have to finish the package for miss T., have to restock, have to start stocking for Sept.,  and then last week my uncle was on the verge of death and this week my aunt is.   I am trying to keep busy and not think about, because it makes me ill.  Luckily however, there are lots of telemarketing calls so I have been enjoying taking out my hostility on them. Usually I am very polite, but screw right action at this moment.
