Strawberry Fields forever
We went to one of these "pick your own strawberries" places this morning. Yummy. Of course, you have to try "a few" while picking them to make sure they, eh, taste like strawberries and stuff, so I didn't bother with lunch ... my whole car smells like strawberries now, in fact, I smell like strawberries too (the cats find that a bit suspicious) and so does the kitchen, where strawberries are waiting to be turned into cocktails tonight.

Oh, and this news: "Matt Smith will battle The Daleks in his first 'Doctor Who' episode (...)"?!

Let's join me in a Darth Vader moment and say "NOOOoooOOooooooOOOOOOo!11!!!1!"
Or even better, how about a Samuel Jackson moment? "“Enough is enough, I've had it with these mother fucking Daleks in this mother fucking universe ... and any other universe there is, for that matter!!"

I also had strawberries today! No picking or cocktails though.

And yes, Gordon finds it annoying when I eat fruit too, he jumps back as soon as he smells it as if i'm covered in dog mess. Then we have the whole: him - "you smell reallyreallyreally bad and I will not come within 10 feet of you until you go through a disinfection procedure" Me - "no I do not this is a ridiculous overreaction Gordon!" him - *ANGRY FACE* conversation.

I'm not ready for Matt Smith yet. No. *hides*

Cats are probably scared of vitamins *lol*

I'm quite excited about the new Doctor ... well, more curious really. I want to see how he'll look like in costume and what he'll do with the part and all that. But it will be a sad Christmas special this year :(

Let me know how you like the new doctor. Hubby watches Dr. Who religiously but it is so long between when you get the new episodes and when we get them. I am not even sure when it will come back on for us. I think we are a season behind.

I think it'll be another year till we get to see the 11th Doctor. He'll regenerate around Christmas this year and if the scedule is back to normal the new season should be on in spring/summer 2010. But David is done with filming his episodes and filming a season takes about 9 months, so there should be on set reports and pictures of Matt in costume in a few months.

Oh, and I heard that Doctor Who is moving from SciFi Channel to BBC America (isn't this where Torchwood is showing too?), which seems to upset some US fans because it's not included in their cable TV deal, while others see it as a big improvement.

Hmmm I am not sure where Torchwood is now... hubby used to watch it but lost interest for some reason. I am not sure whether we get BBC American any longer as we are switching cable providers. Hopefully we do or I'll have to find other means to get the eps for him! :D
