A Message from Ellen ( FROM her newsletter and her website. REMEMBER: I AM NOT ELLEN DEGENERES AND I DON'T HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH HER!)

I’m so excited to have the weekend to catch up on my favorite shows! There were so many big finales all week. I didn’t want to hear any spoiler alerts, so I did what any normal person would do -- I made the entire office take a vow of silence.

Here’s something I can’t be silent about -- my show this week! One of my closest friends is here to help me cohost: Jennifer Aniston. She’s the best person to talk to when it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year.

And here’s the most exciting part… Portia de Rossi is the guest that day! She’s in the incredible new season of “Arrested Development”. I’m a huge fan of hers. That’s why I married her.

Also this week, I’m choosing the winner of the “Ellen, Here’s My Talent” contest! There is so much incredible talent out there. Mostly I got people who can make weird noises with their mouths, but still, so much talent.

Amanda Seyfried is here to tell me about being on the cover of “Allure”. I actually found a cover of something else she was on from years ago, and I can’t wait to show it to her.

And two of my favorite funny men, Kevin Nealon and Steve Harvey, are both here this week! I never realized how much they have in common. They both make me laugh every time I see them, and they both owe me over $6,000 in gambling debts.

And the beautiful Hayden Panetierre is here from the sexy show “Nashville”. Hayden likes to tell me things about her love life, so get ready for who knows what.

I also have amazing musical guests this week! The incredible Ed Sheeran is giving a concert extraordinaire (that’s French for extra-cool), Michael Bolton is performing a classic hit, and one of my favorite bands, Grizzly Bear, is here for the very first time!

I can’t wait. I really can’t. I’m going to drive over to the studio now.

A Message From Ellen (From her newsletter and on her website. REMEMBER: I AM NOT ELLEN. I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH HER!)

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! I got some yard work done, visited some friends, and still all I can think about is who the mole is on “Scandal."

Don’t you love surprises on television? Good, because I’ve got a big one on my show this week! You’ll never guess who’s gonna be here. Mostly because I’m not gonna tell you, but oh boy are you gonna love it!

There are lots of other things happening this week that I’m happy to tell you about. For instance, Kerry Washington is here! I’m going to ask her all about “Scandal” and try to get some info out of her.

Sophia Grace & Rosie went to Disney World! I’m so excited to see the video from their amazing adventure. I hope they brought me back an oversized lollipop.

Then, HGTV’s Cousins on Call are revealing the bathroom makeover they did for a deserving mom! I saw a sneak peek, and let me tell ya, you’re not going to want to miss this one.

The very handsome Rob Lowe is here to tell me about a new HBO biopic he’s in called “Behind the Candelabra” that’s all about Liberace. I saw it, and I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to talk to him about it.

I also have 3 amazing music performances all in one week! Demi Lovato is singing her new hit, Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks is performing a song from her new solo album, and Robin Thicke and Pharrell are here to sing one of my new favorite songs, “Blurred Lines." I should warn you... it is a very sexy song.

I’m also talking to the lovely Kaley Cuoco, the new Captain Kirk himself -- Chris Pine, and Alex O’Loughlin from “Hawaii Five-0”! Plus, I’ll get one step closer to finding out which member of my staff is secretly trying on my wigs after the show. It’s Tony.

See you tomorrow!
