| Bio: | I just completed my M.A. in sociology, focusing on politics, media, gender, and at times the intersections of the three. I recently married the most wonderful man and I suspect I don't deserve him. My life has changed A LOT in the past 2-3 years and I'm still trying to catch up with myself. I generally need to lighten up. I'm a slob, a cynic and a permanently blocked artist but I care about the disadvantaged and the environment and I want to be a cool college professor/activist some day, but like a lot of recent graduates my future is uncertain. I'm a bit of a dilettante. I have sleep disorders. I enjoy following and talking about politics. I don't get to socialize enough - I love having friends over and I wish my condo was larger so I could throw a party now and then. I'm not really religious, to my mother's dismay. I like seeing the world and so far I've been to France, Italy, Germany, Czeck Republic, Mexico (both coasts), Jamaica, Malaysia, and Thailand. I haven't really watched TV in years, I still refuse to have one in my living room, but despite myself I enjoy The People's Court, Law & Order SVU, and of course the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. ;)
