Finals are over and I have a bit of time to relax and such. So I'm opening up a few slots for some sketch commissions to be completed either tomorrow or sometime next week (I'm having all wisdom teeth removed Friday, so I'll have a lot of free time on my hands while I recover). Now's the chance to snag some art by me, seeing as during the school quarter I literally have no time.....as seen by my neglected gallery. I'll take 3-4 slots for now.
Sketches, either Digital or in Pencil: $10

Slots:

Went on a little adventure yesterday with my mom and her best friend Debbie who's visiting from San Diego. Went to Poulsbo (little Norsky-like town) and wandered around most of the day. Have a few pics from the ferry ride:
( Ferry pics! )

My snake is wrapped around my neck and I believe he is enjoying me humming in my lower range, lol :P He keeps exploring my scalp as well...it feels so cool XD
Now he's choking me...good. e_e
( Oooo useless pictures... )
I have no snakey icons :( .....so you get that abomination! XD

I thought I'd have a yard sale in my LJ for some cheap stuff before putting it on ebay. *shrugs* Comment if you want something! I don't think I can get anything out in time for Xmas with it being next week and all...so I'm sorry for that. Shipping is a flat $4 extra (gas and packaging)
( Yard sale! (LOTS OF PICS) )

Ok...here they are....don't judge me XD
I dressed as a female version of Graverobber on the opening night, and then as a Gentern with Bri on Saturday. Tyler went as a Geneco clean up crewman both nights :B Weeeee costuming! Don't know what I'm referring to? Go to http://repo-oper.com ! The whole point of Repo is to get the word out there! So I'd prefer if you did research on your own :D Ok, on to the pics!
( Reeeeepppoooo Maaaaan )

Saw Repo! The Genetic Opera Tuesday night and was just.....amazed. Holy shit it was awesome!! Almost 70% of the people there came in costume (alas, not I) :B The movie itself was flooring and fantastic, but the *experience* was what made it just EPIC. First, everyone was already fanboys/girls and made the audience one big supportive...family...it almost felt like :) Before the show started, the touring manager (I think?) of the show came up and introduced it, spoke a bit, and then told us he wanted some singing until showtime. Soooo a large portion of the audience started singing songs from the movie and actually did a decent job :p (I sang a little..more to myself though, since we were in the front row and most of the people joining in were in the middle section of the house). So then the director Darren Lynn Bousman (directed Saw sequels), Terrance Zdunich (Graverobber <3 <3 <3 and co-creator), and the guy who did music (don't know his name :x) came up front and did their own introduction...which I filmed....and then ON WITH THE SHOW!
( Rest of REPO! Report!!!! Weeeeeee )

Ok, I have a fairly random question to put out to my f-list.....do any of you have any personal focus exercises you do to get, well...focussed?
To add some context:
I need to lead my acting class in a group focus exercise, yet it needs to be something one can do on their own (for example, before an audition). Personally, I would do meditation or breathing...yet a number of people in class have already used this...and it's rather hard to lead such a personal exercise. Gah..I just can't think of anything that works singularly and also in a group.
We also need a physical warmup as well if anyone has any ideas for that too.... *ponders*

I'm planning my website for my art/commissions/etc. and need some opinions for my domain name....
If you were going to buy a domain name, and the ".com" version wasn't available, would you settle for a ".net" or ".org" or would you try and come up with another variation of your domain name (like adding "studio" or "designs" ex: RandomNameStudios.com)to it so you could have a .com?
For some reason I feel like if I can't get the .com name it's not as good or something XD I've been waffling over this for the past week and just can't decide...but I'd really like to get a site underway and a domain name snagged. Blah....
