Me in a nutshell:
"No, this is me in a nutshell: -sprawls on back flailing arms and legs- "Help! I'm in a nutshell! How did I get into this bloody great big nutshell? What kind of shell has a nut like this?" - sorry, a bit of Austin Powers humour there.

Okay, seriously, I am a fan/supporter of all types of music from underground to mainstream. I am a college graduate (BS in English degree), currently located in small town Iowa. I read and research a lot, mainly bands these days. I consider myself well-read, I am an open-minded, non-biased, non-prejudiced, nonconformist individual and I have a unique background. If I could say I was involved in any "scenes", I would cite the Gothic/Industrial and Underground Rap/Horrorcore communities as my main areas of lifestyle choice/involvement.

I possess two identities which I have held over the years:
Carpe Noctem, which translates loosely from Latin as "seize the night", which is my Gothic/dark identity, and Syko E, a "street name" of sorts, which I am known as in underground/horrorcore communities. My Carpe Noctem side is most predominant.
