Oh man am I glad to be going back to my regularly scheduled program. Not that I didn't learn a lot, and not that I didn't have a great class teacher and bunch of kids, but yeah, I just missed my old life a little too much!

They were sweet though, they threw a party for me and the other student teacher today and I made myself sick on lollies. Also got some cool pressies like a mug (aww), a funky scarf and some choccies. It was like my birthday! Oh, and multiple hugs, which was quite cute.

Read on NF.com that the Rogue Traders are guesting for Kelly Clarkson when she's touring here in November - I am *so* there! That'd be excellent to see RT & KC perform. I think my cousin and I are going to go.

I've got my i-Pod on at the moment but all the songs are getting kind of samey cause I listen to it too much. Anyone got any song recs for me? Any songs they're loving to death at the moment. I don't mind what genre ('cept for rap - can't stand most rap) and whether it's old or new.

Just watching the Alias ep here where Sydney has to pretend to be Lauren and hang around with Sark, hehe. It's taken forever to air here and I only wanted to see that one bit with the drink and the lime!

Schnappi the crocodile must die. 8-year-olds have the worst taste in music. Oh, and did you know that Schnappi has eight remixes of the one song? No? Me either till today. Joy.

I don't know what's worse, this or the bloody crazy frog.

One and a half more days to go! Though as much as I moan about the tiredness and the singing cartoon characters I want to strangle that they *insist* upon listening to... I'm gonna miss these kidlets!

I won't miss the dobbing though. Geez they love to tell on one another.

In other news, the last episode of Dr Who for this season aired here last night and I'm going to miss CE something shocking! I love his Doctor to pieces, but I have to admit that DT has started off on the right foot with his 10 seconds of screen time - he kept the manic grin! Good on him. 'The Christmas Invasion' can't be made quick enough in my opinion...

Rounds are going okay. I'm having my moments where I think, 'I can't do this for another five weeks', then I'm alright again, then I go back to feeling useless and about five years old like I know nothing? I don't know. My supervising teacher is ace though, she's really helpful and the main thing was that she didn't think I was a geek for getting my pic in the Neighbours book, LOL. She's a Neighbours fan from way back and loves Kylie! Hehe.

Went to the chocolate shop after work yesterday and discovered chocolate covered hazlenuts... needless to say, I'm feeling a *little* sickly at the moment.

Guess who nearly electrocuted themselves today? Oh yes.

I put my hair straightener on this morning to fix my scarecrow hair before work but it wouldn't heat up for some reason. So I plug my old one in and it makes some odd sounds but it's okay... till one of the sides drop off (it usually does that). I go to stick it back on when ZAAAAAAP!! - a big frickin bolt of electricity crackles out at me. I squeal, drop the thing on the ground and freak out... then mourn the loss of my hair not being straight. Oh yeah, priorities in order here, LOL.

I also stubbed about three toes on the door before that so it really wasn't a good morning all things considered!

Meep. I start my 6-week stint of teaching rounds on Monday. I think I'm okay about it, it's just the thought of the last four weeks... where I'm totally in charge of the class. I know, I know, that's like the whole point of teaching I hear you say! LOL - It's just odd when it's not your *own* class.

Presentation went well today and I didn't turn the lovely shade of puce I usually do through sheer nerves and embarrassment... more of a tomato-red hue. Fabbo.

I've got about a million and one MVs I want to make but have to wait for some more clips to air - and for me to be bothered to make said clips on the computer! Found the funniest song for a Stindi vid last night *giggles mischieviously*

Hmm, news. Got my hair done today finally. It was beginning to look all kinds of scary with the dark roots showing through and whatnot - now it's all the one colour with a few snazzy foils thrown in for good measure.

I've got to write up a whole bunch of stuff when I go to bed for my uni presentation tomorrow, hence my procrastinating on here... la de dah...

Soooo tired right now. I actually went out last night with some mates for the first time in ages and we didn't get to sleep till 4:30am... then had the brilliant idea to get up like 5 hours later. Plus, my feet are killing me. Pointy-toe heels are not fun to walk home in.

It was a pretty good night though, drank some interesting mixed drinks. Some weird shot called a Purple Hooter, LOL, and just other stuff with vodka and raspberry flavoured stuff in it. My friend had this God-awful looking shot called a Buttery Nipple - very amusing to hear her ask for one *snerk*

Now I'm almost asleep here at the computer and I'm supposed to be doing my Maths assignment due in on Tuesday. So. Can't. Be. Stuffed. Plus, I'm going on excursion with the Grade 2 class tomorrow and I'm going to be even tireder after that. Hopefully it'll be entertaining.

On a more random note, I really feel like some pancakes right now...

Who knew shopping could be so painful? I had a class at 8am today for an hour and then a bloody four hour gap till the next lecture, so I decided to go shopping in the city. Well, I spent about a gazillion dollars thus meaning I had quite a few heavy bags to lug around and my left arm and shoulders are in pain right now. When I got back to my lecture everyone asked me what I bought and I seriously couldn't remember half the stuff, LOL. I just picked up all these things and was compelled to buy them - I didn't even bother to try on the clothes I bought (luckily they fit when I tried them on at home!).

It's uni's fault for being so stupid with their lecture times ;)

I now have lots of new clothes now, which is cool I guess. As well as Smallville Season 3, Little Britain Season 1 (I've only just discovered the fun of this show - yes, I am waaaay behind!) a new scarf and this really yummy strawberry scented body lotion. I'm going to smell like lollies, woo! LOL.

It took me eight hours to read, but it was eight hours well spent! This is what I posted over at nf.com, except for a few more added thoughts, for I am lazy...

In other news, we've caught two mice in the past two days and I've realised that not only am I petrified of them, but I'm also very much like the clichéd girly-girl who screams and jumps up and down on furniture when she sees one. Holy cow it's embarrassing.

Saw 'Bewitched' tonight. It wasn't too bad. Have a great big 'ol headache now though and shouldn't really be in front of a computer screen, but all well. Que sera sera and all that.

Okay, usually there's no such thing as *too* much chocolate but I really think I've come close to the realm of 'OMG! Gonna be sick' tonight. Dark chocolate with peppermint cream filling is not my friend anymore...

I saw War Of The Worlds today and thought it was pretty good. My urge to throw popcorn at Tom Cruise's Oprah-couch-jumping, over-excited, tiny-man head wasn't as big as I thought either, which was nice for the other patrons I'm sure. The special effects were fantastic, a lot of stuff creeped me out!

Thanks for all the comments on my last post too dudes! Went along to Marcella and Kevin's play reading today and that was fun. Had another chat to Marcella and she introduced me to her partner, Brett, and a couple of her friends - it was so bizarre because she was all, "This is *the* Carly from the Neighbours site!" and they had a look of recognition on their faces much to my surprise! Marcella laughed and said, "You feel like a rock star yet?" Hehe. And I've realised that she reminds me a lot of my aunt Leanne, just the way she chats so easily with people and her 'arty' way of dressing. Mum said the same thing!

Janet and Jackie were in the audience sitting a row along from me! They looked all hip and trendy - I didn't get a chance to say hello though because they were speaking to other people and I didn't want to bother them! Janet is such a Lynnie in RL though, she came barrelling up to Marcella calling out, "That was fantastic!" Aw, LOL. They seem like a close bunch those three gals, lots of hugs and kisses between them.

That two-week stint of rounds just FLEW by. Didn't help that I was off sick for two days because of this horrid cold I've got at the moment. I'm sick of coughing and I wish my voice would return to normal because I sound like a drag queen impersonating a seal at the moment. When the kidlets come back from holidays I have to go back and make up the days I missed. That should be okay though.

The dreaded flu didn't stop me from going to the Neighbours charity thingo on Thursday night, no siree. That was such a lot of fun! It was really bizarre too because everywhere you turned you saw a Neighbours person. 'Oh look, there's Fletch. Ooh, that's Carla over there dancing like a crazy person! Oh my God, Blair just walked right past me!' Totally surreal.

I couldn't believe that George from the quiz nights remembered me - but then it just got ten times more funnier when I met Marcella and Kevin! They were so amazing and I didn't get why they were excited to meet me, LOL. I was like, 'Dudes... You guys are the ones on TV!' I didn't write this on the board cause of the un-Lil & Dave-like language (hehe) but when I said who I was, Marcella and Kevin both grinned, shook my hand and said to me, 'You're Carly? That's fucking awesome!' PMSL. Then the Bishop sandwich shot was taken, LOL.

I think I need a new t-shirt: 'Official Neighbours Geek - Ask Me How!' :P
