Hurtling down the track, careening around, over and through the competition, Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is a natural behind the wheel. Born to race cars, Speed is aggressive, instinctive and, most of all, fearless. His only real competition is the memory of the brother he idolized -- the legendary Rex Racer -- whose death in a race has left behind a legacy that Speed is driven to fulfill.

Speed is loyal to the family racing business, led by his father, Pops Racer (John Goodman), the designer of Speed's thundering Mach 5. When Speed turns down a lucrative and tempting offer from Royalton Industries, he not only infuriates the company's maniacal owner (Roger Allam) but uncovers a terrible secret -- some of the biggest races are being fixed by a handful of ruthless moguls who manipulate the top drivers to boost profits. If Speed won't drive for Royalton, Royalton will see to it that the Mach 5 never crosses another finish line.

The only way for Speed to save his family's business and the sport he loves is to beat Royalton at his own game. With the support of his family and his loyal girlfriend, Trixie (Christina Ricci), Speed teams with his one-time rival -- the mysterious Racer X (Matthew Fox) -- to win the race that had taken his brother's life: the death-defying, cross-country rally known as The Crucible.

Yet, the ultimate test of Speed Racer's true racing grit will be at the pinnacle event of the World Racing League: the Grand Prix. But standing between Speed and the checkered flag are the world's best--and most cutthroat--competitors, fueled by a million-dollar bounty from Royalton to the driver who takes Speed out once and for all.

"Speed Racer" marks the Wachowski brothers' first writing/directing collaboration since "The Matrix" movies. Joel Silver, who previously worked with the Wachowskis on "The Matrix" movies and "V For Vendetta," is producing the film under his Silver Pictures banner. Larry and Andy Wachowski and Grant Hill are also producing, with David Lane Seltzer and Bruce Berman serving as
executive producers.

He has his own TV show and is very old. He always does his magic tricks in front of like 20 people outside, and he is always very nice to everyone even though he looks so destroy. he got stuck doing britney's spears come back last sunday but he canceled at the last minute because britney would't come to practices they say. Also britney was pissed that he came to the show with another girl. at the end britney looked very stupid and we will never know what that trick was. i don't really like celine dion, and elvis was, i guess, ok for a king, but this is about technology and about putting the dead people back to work. The big fuzz about this is that it was presented as being live when it actually was pre-recorded and edited with computers. It was in fact done many times. some times with an elvis stand-in for back, side and faraway shots and some with celine alone to add later the CGI elvis from 1968. it was evaluated that it cost $100 000 to do that.

i went out to this fetish night saturday and it was in a swimming pool. there was no water in it. people had to go down in the swimming pool for dancing. i got bored pretty fast. not much space around the swimming pool, music was random, people danced very badly, nothing very fetish happened, and i was in a freaking swimming pool on a Saturday night!. so i went back to my car but it wouldn't start, i crossed electrastarr but i didn't bother her with my problem. i stopped a taxi to get a boost. but it wasn't that. i took the taxi home. the next day i called a towing and got back to the car. my car was locked in the park position. the guy somehow unlocked it and i was able to start the car!!. so i didn't need a towing after all, nor expensive repairs, just a guy with magic fingers. so i learnt my lesson: never park your car near a fetish swimming pool.
