A Day in the Life is done. Really have some issues with the ending - Chapter 21, in particular - but I like the final chapter and what's done is done.
Got Dig Out Your Soul, and I absolutely love it (surprise, surprise). Waiting for the Rapture and I'm Outta Time and Falling Down = love.
Went to the State Fair, was bored, but I ate greasy food and saw a friend I haven't seen in a while so all in all a good day.
Really busy, but oh well. Need to write.

Drabble 8 from Definitely Maybe.
Title: Bring It On Down Fandom: HP Rating: 12+ Genre: General Wordcount: 332 Summary: Snape and Draco have escaped to Spinner's End, but it's only the beginning of a much longer marathon. Notes: Been a while, huh?
( Today was just a blur - you gotta head like a ghost train! )

Thanksgiving was good. Ate a lot of good food, watched the Cowboys beat the crap out of the Bucs, watched Elf and Friends, played New Super Mario Bros for the first time in a while - a good day all in all.
I was watching CSI: Miami today ("The Dead Zone") and at the end they used one of my favorite Oasis songs ("The Masterplan"). So that episode's my new favorite CSI: Miami episode now.
I just need about 10,000 words to finish my goal... I actually might be able to get that done this weekend.
Yay.

Drabble 7 from Definitely Maybe.
Title: Columbia Fandom: HP Rating: 15+ Genre: General Wordcount: 349 Summary: Freedom is quite dull, it seems. Notes: If you're sitting down and don't get up as soon as you start listening to this song, there's something wrong with you. I think I should listen to it in the mornings to wake up.
Oh, and because I'm going to try to get 30k words done by the end of November to get back in the writing mood (not NaNoWriMo, just feel like it):
( This is confusion, am I confusing you? )

Been making (crappy) icons here and there for a while now and I figure it's about time I post all of them. You've probably seen a few of them around. Credit if taking, don't hotlink, images may be used as bases if you credit, etc, etc, bla, bla, bla.
Fandoms:
X3 - 5 Coldplay - 8 Oasis - 15
( X3 ) ( Coldplay ) ( Oasis )

Drabble 3 from Definitely Maybe.
Title: Rock 'N' Roll Star Fandom: HP Rating: 12+ Genre: General Wordcount: 312 Summary: Amid cheers of “Weasley is our King”, Ron looks around at the clustered group of Gryffindors and they attempt to carry him on their shoulders up a flight of stairs. Notes: Really very pointless. Just a bit of Ron goodness, although it has no particular point or purpose. Maybe a little exploration of Ron's whole fame-seeking thing. Lyrics from the Oasis song - this is drabble no. 3 from Definitely Maybe.
( The day's moving just too fast for me. )

Little ficlet that I wrote while listening to the Oasis song of the same name. I may actually just go and write drabbles based on each song of Definitely Maybe - I've thought about it before.
Title: Cigarettes and Alcohol Fandom: HP Rating: 15+, T Genre: General Wordcount: 398 Summary: Piers Polkiss does not listen to Blur - that's for sure. Notes: Pointless little interaction between Dudley and Piers set right before HBP. Mentions a few Oasis songs, and a few other things, just because I love Oasis and also because they were really big at the time. And also I can just see Dudley listening to this song before he beats up some ten-year-old. Title from the Oasis song of the same name, as are the lyrics.
( All he needs are cigarettes and alcohol. )

Rose Bowl, NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
1) USC v. 2) Texas
FINAL SCORE: Vince Young: 42, USC: 39
My God that was an amazing game. Vince Young is just amazing. (Does anyone on my f-list follow sports? ANYONE?) That made every bad thing in the world good.
And I finally saw Narnia. Good movie. And I got Definitely Maybe. Just what I needed: more Oasis. I think it might take the cake over (What's the Story) Morning Glory? as my favorite CD of all-time.
And no, I haven't written in almost two weeks. (And you can't make me!)
