The B-Sides
Since I've been on here a year, might as well cap it off by putting together a list of all the stuff I've posted here over said year (although you could've just checked my memories... and I've only been writing drabbles since April).
In no real order - put together like a CD.
1) Introductions (HP) - 100 words, PG
2) Wonderful Tonight (HP) - 585, PG-13
3) Untitled (HP) - somewhere around 400 or 500, PG
4) Feeling Useless (HP) - 300+, PG
5) Memoriam (Runaways) - 500ish, PG
6) Righteous Sendoff (HP) - 788, PG
7) Horrormones (HP) - 749, PG
8) (A Way To) Make Things Better (HP) - 285, PG
9) The Hardest Part (HP) - 1012, PG
*) Always/Wonderwall (Bartimaeus Trilogy) - somewhere around 3000, PG
* - a "bonus track", of a sort. It was written back in December of 04 and January of 05 (it's two songfics), but when FFNet made their songfic rule I moved it over here, so it doesn't really count. Plus I just don't really like either of them. They're craptacular.
If I had to choose a favorite, it would be 3, 4, or 7. You could make a case for 9 in my mind, too, but I especially love those. That's why 3 and 4 were given their respective spots - I felt that, especially related to the period in which I wrote them, they were very good, and you'll often see some of the best tracks on a CD in the 3 or 4 spot, and then some stronger ones at the end. I love 7 for some odd reason, and 9 was just something different. But really, I was just experimenting with all of these in different techniques. But 4's probably my favorite.
Although I'm thinking of posting The Hardest Part on HPFF and FFNet. Maybe rework it, of course, but it's long enough, and I would like some views on my experimentation. Also, kudos to anyone who can guess the end of the "Let's have some lunch, maybe some -" line. I heard it once and cracked up at it. Also, there's a reason the line is never finished. I couldn't think of a replacement word to make it sound less... weird.
