Hello! aquarama has been away a lot doing gig type things (and is in london just now) so I have been using my time very productively and acting almost like my parents are on holiday...

I had a bbq on saturday, which was lovely because the weather stayed nice and we sat in my back court listening to tapes and trying to remember how to do social dancing for some unknown reason, we only seemed to remember the gay gordons and strip the willow and we drank champayne to celbrate katie getting a 2:1 in her degree. We came inside at some point and spent the eveing making up songs and singing the wombles theme and I still haven't cleaned up the sprawling mess from the party.

Since sunday all I seem to have done is drink wine on my own and listen to hefner, smoke far far far too much and watch lots of Dr Who. It has been lovely but I do have the feeling of I really should be doing something more proactive than this but at the moment I am having a lot of fun dosing around. I have gone out for walks but this seems mostly to buy dvds of Peter Davison Dr Who so I can listen to commentaries. Wrong in the head. Seriously!

However I have been reminded that the best time to listen to hefner is on your own having drunk at half bottle of wine

So I downloaded a client guy and I shall see how this works.

I say guy for too much, I call everything a guy and I can't stop doing it argh!

My mum and dad are back from barcelona and are coming to pick up soon and I am excited to see them, its very strange when they go on holiday because even though I don't live with them I speak to them about three times a day normally so I am left feeling a bit strange. As if to compensate my brother has been sending me pictures of dalek merchandise all week. oh dear. dr who really has eaten my brain and i think carl's too. It was bound to happen we were sci fi partners in crime when we were little it was and still is about the only thing we agree on.

Oh and I went to fife this weekend and had a wonderful time we went paddling in the sea in the middle of the night on friday and threw duffy a surprise birthday party. On saturday we went for a three and a half hour walk along the fife costal path and it was absolutely beautiful. It was so sunny and lovely and we took a few beers and the views were amazing, it was one of the best days I have had and now I have a tan hurray, I will post some photos once i can get them off my phone!

Yesterday was my second wedding anniversary, we had plans of going out on sunday night and out for dinner on monday. Instead we stayed in and wore pjs, ate a curry and watched classic dr who episodes.I had the loveliest day. This all started because for every present giving occasion I get Andy something Dr Who related, usually something pretty tacky and plastic and probably a dvd, so I got him earthshock this time and cried about Adric.

(As an aside I love Adric, I've only really seen him in Tom Baker ones but everyone I read talking about him seems to hate him)

ha! i loved ashes to ashes, it is a bit silly and flashy. although i don't like the new main actress person, she is extremely annoying.

Is it wrong to fancy gene hunt? Only 80s Gene Hunt, 70s Gene Hunt would not have got it but  80s  would...

I am so wrong in the head.

So the new harry potter covers eh? I have gone all wrong in the head for Harry Potter again and I assume i will for the next 113 days.

I am far far far too excited and obviously very cool (ahem)

I am pretty enamoured with the Uk childrens edition one, because iit is fairly busy and there are a lot of htings to puzzle out and speculate on.

I have gone wrong in the head for photoshop, I need to stop it now i have made about 10 wanda from cry baby icons (i am half tempted to post them here - its been years since i've done that...) even though I am only going to use one. I had forgetting how all absorbing it was, it makes hours fly by while I tinkle and fiddle and end up with rubbish looking things anyway but hey! it's been keeping me busy. But now I have more than replaced all my old icons and have about 10 to spare.

So I feel awful, me and andy have £10 until next week, (we'll be staying in this weekend then...) I've gone wrong in the head about photoshop and cry baby, but it's all ok because I am listening to the best of the beach boys and don't worry baby has not yet failed in making me feel better and after that I feel like some wailing so maybe i'll listen to the beirut album and faff about on the internet some more.
