I am ill, both andy and i are actually with this evil cold thing that has made me dizzy and made all my muscles ache. This has put my studying out a bit so I may have to cancel my planned day trip up to largo on saturday to hang out with gemma and norman.

I have pages of shorthand from watching torchwood the other night that i will write up when i get some energy but instead i have been watching season 1 and 2 of Buffy. Oh the fun, I love it so. I may be annoying Andy by constantly giving him trivia facts about it, I can't help it.

i am feelign a bit better now and starting to properly consider my outfit for saturday when i am hosting gemma's irthday party. hero and villian themed.(not just superheroes, any kind) I think i am going to go as Buffy and i have just managed to squeeze myself into a rather old pair of fake leather trousers, i am going to be sweaty... lovely

i still need to find a stake though

why is it always harder to write about something you actually like??

And also? why is it impossible for anyone in this class to shut up for more than about 5 minutes?

Honestly I am actually trying to do do some work here...

I've never read a comic before (unless you are counting the beano, which I used to read every week) but this was buffy, which I'd been watching since I was 12 and have spent countless hours watching, talking about and coming up with ridiculous theorys for.  For a long time it was my favourite escape and I wanted it to draw me back in.

It's weird but I enjoyed it, and the art was beautiful but it's so short and a whole month before you get anything new. A whole new strange world.


Aww its fun to be excited about buffy again, its been a while...

a) I am stupidly excited about the buffy season 8 comic, I have never bought a comic in my life but i started watching buffy when i was 12 with my brother and i have been making andy watch all my dvds recently so I am up for and hopefully it's pretty good. i think it was supposed to come out on thursday but it might of been pushed back but anyway exxxxxxxcited. because i am a loser.

b) I need to stop reading stuff about the harry potter film because i know it will not be as good as the book and the only way to do it properly is to get drunkfaced with gemma and see it a the late showing with no weans and it be loads of fun and not pick holes in it until the second time i see it.

c) this weekend was a-may-zing and featured a particularly scary night at the soundhouse, a hardstyle? night i believe with music that was impossible to dance to and we eventually reveted to running on the spot, but it was all ok when the guy we actually wanted to see the horrorist came on and we got to dance, but then it was all back to mine for a very long time of no sleep, but sitting in pjs and tag team lori and gemma dancign to the specials, the libertines, baby shambles, depeche mode and i can't remember what else, drinking sambucca and malibu and me and katie tag teaming norman with the chat and not going to the pub because that gives you depression face and pjs don't.

d) however mondays give me depression face.

e) in the past couple of weeks i went to see:

Baby shambles - ace, on time (shock and indeed horror), really lairy crowd for a monday night
Jarvis Cocker - amazing, funny, and he played sidewalking by the mary chain, and i still fancy him as much as I did when i was 11 but the crowd were rubbish.
Kid carpet - which was lots and lots of fun.

f) ok so now i've seen all the 4th season of the the OC, and i cried like a baby at the last episode, I have now started watching the first season again. but it doesn't make up for taylor. oh how i will miss taylor!

all i want to do is watch the buffy musical but i've already done that today so I think i'm going to walk about singing all the songs in an out of tune fashion.
