Public transport strikes because of WYD.

Great thank you very much, now all us non catholics get fucked over(understandably too) by public transport workers.

this line is from SMH...
"The Church of England has voted to allow women bishops, despite fears the move will prompt a major split after more than 1300 clergy threatened to leave if it was passed."

It's great that women bishops are now permitted into the church of England, What I am outraged with is one thousand three hundred think that it is not on. even if one person thought this i'm still disgusted over anyone who is that fucking sexist and living in the fracking stone ages.

And this whole new nudie shot of a young girl taken by her mother, It's a lovely picture... Kevin Rudd FUCK OFF. Sometimes I wonder why I fucking vote at all... You are really starting to piss me off, Take your jesus loving moralising bull shite out of politics and stop getting a hard dick over naked children in art, seriously. if you find that picture encouraging sexual thoughts in anyway then you are the one's who are sick. that goes out to Rudd and Rest. I have no prime Minister. just some douche running the country like fucking sunday school...some things never change. *sigh*

I'm getting sick and tired of people saying to me "Don't do anything to the worshippers during WYD, it's their beliefs"

Yeah, their beliefs that support such an organisation that does these things,a nd also causes mass (no pun intended) disruption to the city I live in.

Its annoying isn't it... That girl is the one who is most annoyed, she took offence to him saying it was in bad taste ((as she should/would)).
I knew Rudd would fuck up sooner or later, he is a Politician after all...

Rudd, I saw the headline yesterday... Iemma prolly had his 2 cents worth too. I think that dickhead Nelson also had something to say about it.

The Pope won't be offering any apologies because that would be an admission that the Church did wrong, and that would be against Church policy.

Apparently a pope did apologise for child abuse in America.

Oh yeah, Calvinist Protestantism looks more and more appealing as each day passes...

Having said that, when are they going to move the paedophile hunt to the bloody fashion industry? You can't tell me there aren't paedophiles in the fashion industry when you've got t-shirts on girls as young as nine bearing such slogans as "I can love you long time" or miniskirts and knee-high boots on girls as young as ten (and maybe younger) and g-strings being marketed for girls as young as six.

i think that human's standards for themselves have dropped. There are a lot of parents out there who look up to their idols like Paris Hilton and dress themselves/their children that way. it is "funky" to dress your child in more adult...slut wear.

i'd rather see my child naked in a photo looking beautiful than in a top that's saying their white trash.

PS: since you are a religious man, I hope i'm not coming across as a hater lol, as I do like to point out in my posts...I don't mind anyone's religion as long as they are not harming anyone or others personally(as in them self) or pushing their beliefs onto others...and I think you'd remember my religion in politics post where I did say I don't care what religion any politician is as long as they keep their personal beliefs out of politics. (Which means you need to be the peoples politician not the *insert religion here* politician) :-)

Clearly Rudd is basically sticking his mouth where he shouldn't and carrying on like Joyce Lovejoy in the Simpsons (but think about the children!)

Rest assured, you don't come across as a hater - my comment about Calvinist Protestantism was a result of me deciding I'd like to worship Jesus another way, and so far I like the sound of being a Presbyterian, or maybe a Baptist (since Sarah and I attend a Baptist church). I have chosen not to be a Catholic because while the Catholic Church done a lot of good in the community over the centuries there are a few things I don't agree with, and stories about cover-ups regarding pedophilia blew it for me completely. And if you look back on the history of the Roman Catholic Church, mark my words: the Reformation had to happen.

While I disagree with the Roman Catholic Church itself, I have nothing against Catholics in general - some of my best friends are Catholics, and some of my closest family members too, and they do a good job of not shoving anything down my throat, though my Dad said to me once that since Jesus Himself founded the Catholic Church it is therefore the One True Church. My counter-argument is that God also created the Garden of Eden, and the Serpent infiltrated that too.

As for politicians, the reason they are elected is to represent we the people and therefore the values of the general population. Mr. Rudd didn't strike me as being full-on churchy, but I think he believes he is doing just that, i.e. reflecting the moral values of the population in general, and thus probably believes that most people, regardless of religious views, would consider nude photos of children to be wrong. I think his biggest concern here might be the bugbear which is the small percentage of the population who are sick perverts who get off on naked children or pictures thereof.
