BioCan't stand these info things - what d'you really need to know about me anyway? Big. Red. Saving your ass on a regular basis. Job sucks sometimes, but someone's gotta do it, and, yeah, that'd be me.
--Who
Hellboy is a demon who was brought from/sent out of hell to Earth in the 1940s near the end of World War II to bring about the apocalypse. Unfortunately for The Forces Of Bad Crap, Hellboy was found by the Allies and raised by the moral Professor Bruttenholm (call him Broom). Any and all attempts by The Forces Of Bad Crap to bring Hellboy back to their side have failed. Miserably. Often painfully. (Technically, Hellboy is the Antichrist. Except not. It's not very clear, which is why Mike Mignola rocks.) He's mainly just your average blue-collar hero who likes a beer at the end of the day.
--What
Hellboy is tall, massive, and completely fire-engine red. He has a pair of curved horns that he has broken off and keeps filed down, most likely for convenience. He has yellow eyes and craggy features, and has one huge right arm: it's giant, made of stone, and can't feel anything. It only has three fingers (oh, right, and a thumb). His feet are actually hooves and, yes, he does have a tail.
--When
Sometime before the events of Conqueror Worm. Comicverse, not movieverse, no matter how much I loved the movie.
--Where
Hellboy is the creation of Mike Mignola (whoownsallovertheplaceomgamen) and can be found in several graphic novels as well as two novels, a recent movie of a suspiciously similar name, the novelization of said movie, and really, really neat action figures.
--Why
