This is my little spot on the web where I rant, ramble, and generally make my opinions known regarding anything having to do with books, reading, and writing. Feel free to friend me if you would care to read what I have to say.
I'm an eclectic, passionate reader who has the pleasure of being a librarian. I buy books at every opportunity, and getting rid of any of them is as painful as pulling teeth. My aim in life--er, one of them, anyway--is to have either 1) a whole room with nothing but books everywhere (and one very large arm chair), or 2) full bookshelves in every room of the house. At the present time I own only about 500-600 volumes, but the collection is growing rapidly, and I hope to have a real-honest-to-goodness personal library at some point.
I write, not as often as I should, but with some regularity...Primarily short stories and articles, and some Very Bad Poetry. I completed a novel in 30 days for National Novel Writing Month.
