....Then the sky turned a red like the roses that were painted on your walls
the ones that sprang from your arms as you swore it didn't hurt at all
....You used to tell me about how the sky was a bright passionate blue
but in my eyes it just lay still merely a placid gray backdrop for you
....I remember that night in your bed two heart beats under the yellow moonlight
I remember the screams in my head praying for everything to be alright
....Right before the curtain fell she called out its red like home again
a final act cut short that to me was black and white like it's always been
