We will be exclusively announcing the new Brand New album title and release date this Sunday, July 12th. Get ready - it should be a fun day around the website. I can already see a massive discussion about the title taking place ... it's ... interesting.
More specifically, members Ryan Ross (the group's creative "mastermind") and Jon Walker are leaving the band to pursue other musical endeavors.
According to their official website, "Though the four of us have made music together in the past, we’ve creatively evolved in different directions which has compromised what each of us want to personally achieve."
The remaining band members, however, will continue to record and tour as planned.
They want that Panic $$$$$$$!

So, I just bought myself and a friend tickets to the September 28th show in Birmingham, AL. I had been planning on buying a membership for OCK first, to get the presale and whatnot, but the tickets went on sale sooner than I expected.
my question is:
If I buy a fan club membership NOW, can I still get meet&greet? Actually, does OCK even do m&g? I know with Northern Downpour for Panic ( :[ ) you get m&g but only for you, no one else that isn't part of the fanclub. With OCK, if m&g is part of it, can you bring a friend?

I don't even know what to say, besides that I hope this is a joke.

So it's been ages since I've posted here. I know the attention from the mods has been a bit lax due to other commitments and issues.
Personally, I have been kept busy with personal issues (i.e. a new house and a new dog). There's also been strain in the work area with layoffs and the horrid economic conditions around the world. My job involves stock markets and mutual funds, so I'm sure you can guess we haven't had a pleasant year.
I also had to deal with my writing LJ being hacked and deleted. I'm still working with LJ to recover anything if possible.
That being said, I've come to realize just how much I miss LJ and the lovely stories I used to read. I'm going to try and be more active taking care of this community because it truly is one of a kind.
First off, I did get an email in regards to the layout of the community. It seems with the updates pushed out by a few browsers, there are issues with seeing all posts on our layout. I don't have an issue, but I wanted to see if anyone else was having trouble. If so, try re-sizing your screen to see if it helps. If you still cannot see the entire page, please reply and let me know. If we get a lot of complaints, we may look into re-doing the layout for the community.
Second, there are still so many posts with graphics outside an LJ cut. I'm not sure if this is causing problems with the layout, but per our rules, all graphics must be behind an LJ cut. I have gone back one month and commented to posts that had images outside a cut. From this point forward though, the entries will have a comment posted by a mod and they will be deleted. They can be reposted once they've been edited.
Last, but not least we have a new affiliate. It is called a_bandomeme. Taken from their Info page, the community is is primarily a Bandom fiction request/suggest community, in which all ideas and wishes posted are then fulfilled by the way of comment replies only without external links to other journals, communities, or webpages; much like p0rnathon memes.

This is probably a really dumb question, but for Summer Sonic, it's broadcasted on TV, right? In Japan, I mean, haha.
