So this update about the Exhibition came later than I had planned.

The lunch was early, at eleven, the same time as everything opened and mom and dad decided to show up. I left my roomkey to them as they both were going to borrow my shower (the bathroom at home is in progress to get a new outfit, and therefore it has no shower. Yet.) while I went to eat. Half an hour later we started to walk around the school to look at everything.
First stop was the Gymnasium. I had not seen it finished before so it was fun to see how it turned out in there. Then I showed mom and dad all around the school and visited the rooms in which the different classes presented their activity.

At two I had an hour shift in the sewing classroom, We had made a schedule on when we were supposed to be in the sewing or weaving classrooms to present what we are doing in our class. So I left the parents to go there and they left the school for a while to look at the sea. Nothing too interesing happened durig this hour. I just sat around and talked with Nina, who had the shift with me, and the occasional visitors. I did not get any work done.
When the hour was up I went to my shift in the weaving classroom, which I had with Chrisitna (one of the half-timers), during this time I also worked with the piano. It happened more things here, than during my other shift. There were definitly more visitors to talk with. It was always someone there.
Erik came up once and helped me a little with my weaving; he stepped on one of the pedals, once.
Frida E. and Oscar came there with some people they know. And I showed one of the friends how to weave, eh, more like he watched while I weaved for a minute or two.

My shift was over at four, and then it was time for me and the parents to load in things that I do not need here anymore, into the car for them to take home. After they drank some tea. Then they went home.
And I am making progress with seeing them leave. When I first came here and I watched the car leave, I was almost crying. When they were here with Bodil, I waved at them and waithed outside until the car had disappered. And now I went into the house at once after I had said good bye to them. Hmm.

Five o'clock, meant Anniversarycoffee in the dining room for old and present students.

First, the weaving classroom.

This greeted people when they went up the stairs. Fingercrochet, or "påtning"? There is no English word for that, but fingercrochet is the closest I can get to describe it. I used it in my carpet.

One hell of a big ball of fingercrochet (and this is just one of three) in front of my carpet. It was Nina's idea to put the crochet on the floor all the way to the stairs.

One of the walls.

Then the sewing classroom:

I had my vest, skirt (made for me) and shirt there.

And last the gymnasium:

Our "corner"

The Clay corner

And the Funiture design classes had the other half.

My things:

Cats.

The black and blue ... thing on the wall to the right.

To left on the column.

Close-up on a other things:

Frida B.'s obsession with Dalahorses. And Toras skirt.

The begining of the obsession, we all blame Erik for making her do that seat to his stool.

Hilde's work. Her version of a tablecloth from the 15th-century.

Edvin's cupboard. I love that one...

Stools and our First Weaving.

Done by Frida E.'s brother Daniel.

This is only a few of all the things in there.

And some more things I have finished

The vest. Just remembered that I had not put up any pictures of it here.

The piano. It is over four meters long...

The babyshirt. We were told to sew a shirt in tricot. This is mine. It was finished in one day. I am now working more on my coat in sewingclass and I am a bit stressed about it, we only have three more sewinglessons...
