Is there anything Ken Cosgrove can’t do? Since the earliest seasons of “Mad Men,” we’ve known that this executive, played by Aaron Staton, is a rising star in the advertising industry and an accomplished author of fiction who’s had work published in The Atlantic Monthly. But Sunday’s episode of the AMC period drama revealed that Cosgrove, when filled up with something nice by a mysterious doctor who visits his office, is a pretty impressive dancer, too, and capable of performing an elaborate and angry tap dance for his colleague Don Draper (Jon Hamm) while repeating his now popular credo, “It’s my job.”
While those words may be the work of Matthew Weiner and Jason Grote, who wrote this “Mad Men” episode — titled “The Crash” — those fancy moves are the work of Mr. Staton, who was rewarded overnight with a wealth of screen grabs, GIFs and more, preserving this moment in digital amber online. On Monday Mr. Staton spoke by telephone to discuss his moment in the spotlight.

What other Mad Men memes did you like, ONTD?

Outrage by some parents over what they deem derogatory statements about children who need gluten-free diets that were made on the Disney Channel show "Jessie" has led the company to pull the episode off the air.

"To our viewers, we received your feedback about tonight's 'Jessie' episode which some of you accessed early on Video-on-Demand," Disney said in a statement on its official Facebook page. "We are removing this particular episode from our regular programming schedule and will re-evaluate its references to gluten restrictions in the character's diet. Please accept our apologies for the upset this episode caused you and your family. We value your feedback and thank you for watching Disney Channel."

The "Jessie" episode, called "Quitting Cold Koala," revolved around a teen nanny who was tasked with taking care of a child named Stuart, who needs a gluten-free diet. Several jokes are made about his condition, including the main character Jessie pointing out that Stuart had a five-page list of his dietary requirements.

Zach Galifianakis has been taking long-time friend 87-year-old Elizabeth “Mimi” Haist, a laundrywoman in Los Angeles, to Hollywood movie premieres for years.

Upon hearing that Haist will accompany the star to the “Hangover III” premiere, the New York Daily News interviewed Haist about her unlikely friendship with the 43-year-old actor and comedian:

Haist first met Galifianakis in 1994, when the then-unknown comic was a newcomer to Los Angeles trying to get his big break. He moved into an apartment around the corner and was soon a regular visitor to Fox Laundry, where she volunteered — surviving off tips from customers.

The Hollywood star stopped coming after the success of the first “Hangover” movie.

“Maybe he has his own washer and dryer now,” Haist said.

Two years ago, the funnyman discovered that Haist — who was married earlier in life but has been on her own for the past 30 years — was homeless. He swooped in and found her a one-bed, one-bath apartment and started covering her rent and utilities.

“If he’s in town, he takes me. Otherwise he lets me take a friend. I dress up nice and a friend helps me with my makeup. It’s fun, not something I’ve ever dreamed I’d experience. The limo takes me home afterwards,” Haist told the Daily News.

Tame Impala's bassist, Nick Allbrook, has left the band. He played his last show with them at Perth's Belvoir Amphitheatre on Saturday night, and will be replaced by Cam Avery, who plays in Pond, a band fronted by Allbrook.

A post on Tame Impala's website stated that Allbrook was "hopping off the Tame Impala band wagon so that he can try and screw his head back on, and make an attempt to assimilate back into society. A task the rest of us fear we will one day have to perform...."

Allbrook told NME, "All bands and projects and stuff will keep going, it's just hard to keep them all going if you're touring all the time. The only bad part will be not seeing my mates every day. I love them more than anything."
