Tomorrow: Work till 8, buy milk and food for the week, thank G-d for not having to shop at the Safeway again, sleep.
Monday: Work till 7:30, take break for appointment to get woman stuff in order, relax and pack, sleep.
Tuesday: Eye appointment at 10:30 a.m., get new lenses, work till 1 a.m., sleep.
Wednesday: Work till midnight, thank G-d to not have to work these hours ever again, pack, sleep.
Thursday: Adventure one last time to SoHo in Dupont for Torah + Coffee, pack, visit Heather in Baltimore for "goodbye," sleep.
Friday: Wake up, finalize packing, muddle around nervously, clean up, go to Dulles, pick up Ian, pack up car, leave Washington indefinitely.
Drive, drive, drive to Chicago. Where I will reside indefinitely. Eat Hot Doug's. Sleep. Celebrate everyone's favorite Irish-themed holiday. Sleep, indefinitely, with future.
Wake up Monday, start looking frantically for jobs, when, she really realizes, she is unemployed and needing funds to pay for Hebrew classes and train tickets to get to shul each week. And to buy her boyfriend, whom she loves more than matzoh with cream cheese and jelly, pizza.
