Today was a pretty relaxing day off. I got to sleep in, then went to hannah's for physics after failed lunch plans with imeime, then we ordered pizza and then i went to ethan/matt's party where i was loud with paige and got smart with domonique :)

I hate physics! I don't know if i hate the subject but i hate our stupid labs and their ambiguity and mr webb's teaching methods. oh well!

Summer 2008!

Well I am bored and thoughtful so I suppose I will make this entry. The style of this will probably not be what you're used to, just fyi

June:
-finished sophomore year (100 on the chem final and fourth in my class were both pretty cool :])
-amanda's pool party! it was cool seeing PAIGE in addition to some others, especially now knowing this was one of the only times we would hang out this summer
-got surgery on my deviated septum, i think my nose looks a lot less beakish now and i feel a LOT less subconscious about my breathing. recovery was not fun though.
-hung out with jason a few days before AASC! That was fun.
-New haircut!! I was so sick of my long hair and I think the way my hair is now looks really nice.
-AASC tournament in Cleveland, OH. I met Raeven and Steven here!!!! As well as hanging out with people like Adrian, Lara, Meggy, Pirin, and Jash who I hadn't seen in a really long time. I also got to meet sweet michigan people like tessa, brian, jay, and greg so this was just really fun overall! :) oh also BDUBS was basically the best thing ever on friday night :) Also Also meeting Derek was really cool too :)) Also Also Charles!! What a funny person.

July:
-Japan for 10 days. One of the most amazing experiences of my life. Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, and Tokyo were all amazing in their own way and I can't even begin to accurately depict how epic this trip was. I also got tons of souvenirs for people that I still need to give out, including adrian's yoshi and pirin's CUP and lara's chopsticks ahahahahaha <3. I met really cool kids from Pleasant Valley (2 hours away) including Abby and Nicole who I still talk to pretty frequently.
-ITG US Open 2008 in San Diego, CA. I did horribly in the tournament due to bad randoms, but it made me care about ITG some more and I got to meet a lot of great people like the Norcal kids and see Socal friends again like Ryan :). California is such a nice place and I really loved UCSD's campus, which is sweet because it's really good for biochem so I might have to give them some serious thought. The only thing that would have made this trip better would've been some OMID
-went to Hersheypark a lot with Leigh, Hannah, and Emily. Leigh managed to get me to do something I never thought was possible, which was to conquer my fear of roller coasters. This was a pretty big deal for me because I have pretty big anxiety issues and a fear of heights, but now I love coasters and enjoy Hersheypark so much more :)
-English SAT prep class. not a fun time minus catching up with hannah, but i feel better about the writing section so it's okay!!
-hersheypark with emi, gilbert, and imeime. this was soo much fun because i hadn't seen the first two in months and it was a nice way to catch up! plus imeime and gilbert together are always hilarious and this is when emi and i started to get close again and i gave her advice on her LAME boy situation.
-got close with raeven!! she's one of my really good friends now and i'm glad we talk so much and she's one of the only people i feel completely comfortable IMing (along with steven and jason)
-went to hersheypark again with just emi, oh i love her so much!

August:
-hersheypark with marching band kids and i got erin to get on roller coasters, which i was so excited about :)
-kate p's birthday pool party was fun, even though she and i were all enemies but now we're okay. i really enjoyed seeing paige again!! and my other sweet marching band friends :DD
-SAT math prep classes, lol at me, becca, and hannah making fun of mrs rogalski the whole time
-FORT RAPIDS TWO. Fucking incredible time. So much fun seeing everyone again and hanging out with Raeven and meeting Kim and hanging out with pittsburgh kids and talking to Adrian on the way to Harrisburg and hersheypark and madness at my house and so much love for everyone there. Maybe the highlight of my summer unlike Japan. Justin Bader is one of my new favorites. Also I love Brendan and Ryan Lewis and I was so glad to see them again and obviously steven is always a fun time! So much love for everyone there :]
-Kings of the coast is now a new summer tradition, and it was a nice way to basically end the summer since I got to see all my NJ favs including ireen, tina, and chez :)

Now for pictures, basically just including everyone who had a big impact on my summer. I probably forgot some people but it doesn't mean I don't love you, okay?

I am probably missing some people but just know that I love you all and you're all amazing.

I hope your summer was as amazing as mine. I am so grateful for this summer and my friends and family.

The Dark Knight was just incredible. I'm so excited to see it again with my Team Z buddies in Columbus :]:]

Apparently I'm going to Hersheypark tomorrow with Leigh/Hannah/Emily/Maddy!! Should be a fun time even though i sure do hate going with an odd number of people.

I know that I mentioned this in my last entry but I'm super upset about my braces! I was told they were going to go off this summer but I guess since the band broke it just ruined that possibility. I hate you, orthodontics.

August is just going to be incredible and I can't wait for it. I don't feel like taking notes on these books though :((
