| Bio: | Musician and idealist at heart. I grew up with my father writing movie scripts and my mother working as a tax accountant. Consequently computers became my forte for my artistic and analytical expression and I spent many years either programming them or using them to score video games, write music for various film and TV shows, do sound design, etc.
Grew up in Los Angeles and moved to the Bay Area when I was 22. Helped a friend start a record label (21st Circuitry) while he helped my band (Xorcist) get out there. Started a club (House Of Usher) with some friends of mine which would become the largest gothic and industrial club in the world for several years until it's fall in San Francisco due to overzealous city planning and crackdowns of 18+ venues due to yuppies wanting 'their space'. Consequently almost every club of a decent size died due to their venues being shut down or downsized for reasons beyond anyones control.
Found the love of my life at House Of Usher and asked her to marry me. She did :-)
Released quite a few albums while in S.F., ran several other clubs and finally moved back to Los Angeles where after running two more clubs, decided it was time to move on with running clubs and am now looking to return to concentrating on music and sound design amongst other things. |
