It's almost 3 pm and I still have no Effing idea where my package is... It was supposed to be delivered today even this morning from what the fedex representative told me. AHA no it wasn't delivered and now I have to bother my co-wroker who work on shipping.. gaddamn it.
There is two building in our company... and there,s a shipping dept in each of the building.I gave the number of the building I work in but sometimes delivery guys are just lame and go to only ONE building. And the guy in charge of shipping in the other building wasn't there this morning and someone ELSE took the package... I called him when I came back BUT he hadn,t talked to the other and he'll get back to me which he never did.
So now I am waiting till 3:30 to call back at work and check if they got the package or not. I swear this is the most frustrating delivery I have ever experienced. They lied to me that my package would be shipped back to a depot about 150 km from here and now they are not delivering on time.
My day has been a collection of fucking frustrations... complete with going to the restaurant and having the idiot waitress drench me with a 16 once glass of water with ICE... thank god it was water and not coke or other sticky beverage.
I can't wait for this HELL OF A DAY to be over... I feel like I am going to bite someone's head off!!!!
And it's my mom's birthday too and I have to be in Quebec before 5... wanna bet I am going to be stuck in traffic somewhere RRRRAAAAARRRR!
I swear if Featherfall doesn't change their shipping policiies I am never EVER buying from them again.
Okay I am now considering names for my little gitl since she should arrive tomorrow (NERVOUS)
Here's the list of the names I like the most: and so you remember what she looks like
Rhianna Penelope Phoebe Nefertiti Misty
so these are the names en liste... now maybe when I open the package I will find her name just by seeing her. But I do want the name to start with a letter my other dolls don't have.
I saw Tropic Thunder yesterday, which was great. I need more crazy, silly, stupid movies in my life right now. It was good times.
Not so good times, though--I think I caught some kind of bug. Every morning now for the past 3 days, I wake up and cough like I've been smoking for 40 years for a good 5 minutes. I also got a sliver in my thumb on my right hand that is just KILLING me, it's so sore. It's not as bad as it was yesterday, but it's still super tender. Makes it hard to bend or pick up anything. :P
Random thought for the day: I wish I could have Melon pan for breakfast more often. I bought the last packet of Melon pan Uwajimaya had last time I was there and had it for breakfast this morning. Soooo yummy. ;-; Melon pan, ilu.
I have sort of an odd request, but I got this awesome shirt at Target about two months ago. Yesterday I noticed there are about four or five holes in it, two of which are large enough to be noticeable. I don't know what happened, since I have another one of these with a different pattern that doesn't have any holes. Anyway, I went back to Target today to see if they had more, but they don't.
If anyone can find me this shirt in a size small, I will love you forever. And reimburse you for the cost of the shirt (and shipping, if you can't give it to me in person). I will also draw you an awesome thing! So really, if you can find me this shirt, I will draw you whatever the hell you want.
A lot of my older clothes are starting to get holes in them. Like my nice black jeans. Damn you, pants. I need to buy new clothes again, but I'm so picky that it's such a pain, even for me.
Anyone up for a marathon? I figured with the Okinawan Festival underway, it'd be a good opportunity to take advantage of the $1 shuttle from KCC to Kapiolani Park and avoid parking in Waikiki. xD Shuttles will be running all day so we could try for 8 hours. :P
Although, I have a nagging feeling I had something planned for this weekend. ^^; I need to find my planner. ^^;;
Fedex said I should have an update today... they onlyupdaed the site of tracking saying my package should arrive on the 29th.. so Friday. I should work till 1 so either I will be stuck at home waiting for them to pass or a paper will be on my door.
unless they move ass and get here faster but I doubt it.
So, I owe plenty of you packages and I want you to know that I haven't forgotten. The items are all lined up on my bench ready to go. I just need to compile some boxes, jazz them up and get my lazy ass to a post office. I sort of fail at running errands though so excuse the wait. Hopefully it shall be worth it.
In other news, work has been bananas sammiches lately. Not a tasty kind with nutella or peanut butter though sadly. More like a moldy squished banana sandwich that has been left in the sun too long and kicked for good measure.
Long story short, the newly appointed nigh manager is more than likely abusing drugs and tried to pretend that his absence from work yesterday was due to a concussion.
A concussion he incurred somehow after coming into work two hours prior and that he didn't go to the ER for. Riiiight.
The best part about this wildly outrageous excuse though was that he claimed he didn't hear the phone ringing over the ringing he was experiencing in his ears.
Oh terrible lie, how I love to laugh at and mock you.
Needless to say, I'm hoping my interview on Thursday goes splendidly as I could use a job that not only pays 3x as much as my current one with the whole benefits shebang but where I can actually respect my higher-ups.
So yesterday, I had lunch with lolitallie, and afterwards we hung out and chit-chatted. Well, we had some time before my ferry came, so we thought we'd pop into the Curiosity shop since it's right there. When we were done, we were standing out front and someone put quarters into the old calliope that's in front of the store and music was playing. So I was acting silly and dancing around to it, and I said, "Hey, I think the circus is in town!" or something like that...and RIGHT AFTER I said that, a midget and his midget wife come out of the shop and walk past us, along with the circusy-calliope music. OH MAN, we laughed so hard. I mean, c'mon--what are the ODDS of something like that happening?!
Yeah, we're probably going to hell. But damn, that was funny.
