Scotland was - well, Scotland. Wet. Misty. Full of trees. I hadn't realised, unfortunately, when the parents said they were going to do nothing all week, that they meant it. So I only took six books. I had, of course, read them all within three days. And the ones of my parents that I found readable didn't last me the rest. Bah. It was too cold (and I forgot hiking clothes, although I did bring my boots, go me) to really walk, although some small meandering was done.
I really missed everyone, especially online friends - as I have tried to explain to non-online-type-people, so-called 'real' friends are only ever as far away as the nearest phone. And there are always phones. But 'net friends, I need a connection to talk to. So if I have no connection. . . *sigh*
Anyway, uploading photo's now. Will post 'em in a bit! |
