Bio
My name is April, and I'm 18 years old. Four years ago I was diagnosed with FSGS, which lead me to ESRD. I started on PD, but 2 1/2 years later I lost my cathetor due to two cases of infections. Im right now on Hemodialysis, and I have a AV fistula. Which I am so proud of! :) I've been currently "Active" on the waiting list at Jackson for about 8 1/2 months now. I attend MDC (Wolfson Campus), and Im taking my nursing requirements. After Im done, I will transfer to MDC (Medical Campus), to start on the nursing program. I want to study more about dialysis, and many more. I have a boyfriend named Luis. It will be 3 years around May that we have been together. If you are interested about kidney failure, dialysis, or
transplantation..feel free to add me!

"You always have to have faith in Jesus Christ. If you dont have faith at all, you wont succeed/accomplish in anything in life."-April Joanna

"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself,'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.-Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962)

"If you cant have faith in what is held up to you for faith, you must find things to belive in yourself, for a life without faith in something is too narrow a space to live." -George E. Woodbery
