california : part 3

alright so.. after the forum ended my mom picked me up for... "family vacation"... (she loves california and needed an excuse to go)  so i dropped off my luggage in the rent-a-car.. which was awesome, it had XM radio! woot! and we walked around San Jose. I took her on an awesome tour of the city, and showed off all my hang outs (thai super-market, starbucks) We walked along the river in the park and ended up at Adobe, then went back to the car.  We drove to the other side of the city to the "Winchester Mystery House" ..it was kinda cool in a weird freak-o way. Some lady like.. built her house until she died to keep out bad spirts? its funky. theres stairs leading to ceilings and doors going to nowhere. i would get lost, it was huge. Then we went to a little coffee shop, and back on the road. We drove like ..FOREVER to get to Fresno. (okay so, we have a whole  bunch of Marriott points and had to stay at Marriotts.. cause it was free, so we stayed at a marriott in Fresno like.. 2 hours away from Yosemite. ugh. Fresno is weird. theres alot of Weiner shacks..

Weiner shacks are funny.. its like a triangle with a drive-thru in the middle of it.

Theres absolutly nothing to do at night in Fresno so we went to a couple of creepy mini-marts looking for food, but got freaked out and went to Taco bell. The next day we got up, stole a couple of muffins from the hotel breakfast lounge, and started the 2 hour drive to Yosemite. yuck. I slept the whole time, its nothing but fields, crops, and brown lumps. But i must say, Yosemite is beautiful, mountains and waterfalls <3! We went to the visitors center and watched a movie  about Yosemite, and then went to go check out the native american exibit

bark tipi? you couldn't pay me to sleep in that thing.

Then we went on a hike to Yosemite waterfall, so pretty, and "refreshing"

waterfalls are beyond cool.

and i climbed a bunch of rocks... try it its fun!

Then we went on a 2 hour tour thingy of the park, it was cool and got to see alot of the park, and even a few rock climbers. Took a whole lot of beautiful pictures on the tour, pretty mountains!!

Then we grabbed some lunch and went on a hike to mirrror lake. It really was like a mirror, and very cool.. the reflection of the mountains in the lake was like.. rad. Then we drove 2 hours back to Fresno and played cards in the hotel room until we fell asleep. Next day, got up and did it all again.. drove 2 hours to Yosemite and went to see the giant sequias. very cool! we went on a big long hike to a little museum and then up to some tunnel tree thing. Then we drove up to glacier point, there was still snow!!!
