Hi, and welcome to _angsty_icons. I'm p33ner, and this is where I keep my icons, and other things (like wallpapers, banners, moodsets, things like that). Be sure to read through the Rules and stuff like that. If you have any questions, check the FAQ to make sure I haven't already answered it. If you still need to know, check out the user info for my contact information.

Make sure you follow all the rules, and I'm sure we'll all get along fine.

Rules

1) Don't take credit for my stuff.

2) Comment when you take things. This is so that I know what kind of icons people like, so I can make more of those in the future.

3) Credit me somewhere. It can be either in keywords, icon comments, or your userinfo. I do check on this, as I get very bored, very often.

4) A link back would be appreciated, but it's not necessary.

5) Don't edit the icons. If they don't have text, they're usually not meant to have text.

Exception: The only exception to these rules are the 'character bases' I make. These are very plain, textless bases of celebrities. I'll label them as 'character bases' - I'll call them that because they're often used as character picture icons in online journal-based roleplaying games. These require no credit, since they're so simple. Commenting would be appreciated though, and be sure to tell me where you're using them so I can check the game out.

FAQ

Your icons suck.
First of all, that's not a question. Second of all, I'm sorry you feel that way. I make icons that I like. I definitely am not as good as a lot of icon makers out there, but I think I'm pretty good.

Why don't you make icons like (insert name here)?
Like I said, I make icons that I like. I tend to balk at some of the more popular icon-making methods, like the 'washed-out, heavily-gradient-ed' look. Sorry, I just don't find those appealing, so I'm not going to be making them.

Where can I find the brush/font/other that you used for (whatever icon)?
Check out my resources section. If that doesn't help you, contact me and let me know what you're looking for.

Can I request an icon?
Kind of. You can request them at this post, but I'm not going to promise that they'll get done. I get busy sometimes. You can try, though!

Resources

Brushes: Hybrid Genesis, Forbidden Fire, teh_indy, icons_with_love, jeweledicecream, lovetheories, elicons02.

Fonts: Mostly, I use Arial Black and Georgia, both of which (I think) come standard with Windows. On occassion, I use other fonts, and most of them are available for free at DaFONT.

Caps: Most of my caps are from the cap_it archives. The Lost caps I use are from Lost Media and some of my Harry Potter caps are by teh_indy. Alexander caps are by krss.
