I do vaguely recall saying that there should be more Slobo fic out there, but I really didn't expect it to be this.

This turned out to be a lot more angsty than I had expected when I volunteered the pairing, possibly because I'm still bitter about the end of Young Justice. *grumble, whinge, bitch*

Also, I finally got an idea of who to pair Dodge with that I was actually okay with writing. You don't find out yet though :P And my conscience meant that I had to make certain changes to my plan for the last chapter. I just can't do that to him, it's too mean. And I do love him.

Without further ado, the next chapter of R&R! There should be two more, and maybe an epilogue. Also, I really don't know a lot about Miss Martian, and admittedly she's only got a few lines here, but hopefully I didn't get her too far out of character...

 And see, this is one of the reasons why I've slowed down. What six months ago would have been a quick 500-word piece of crack has somehow grown into... well, this. The only reason I got it finished was because I just had two days off with the flu.
 
Also, this is what happens when I listen to fairly old pop. Specifically, Avril Lavigne's 'Girlfriend' with a touch (I'm even more embarassed to admit) of Aaron Carter's 'Candy'.

I promise it's not het. Really. Or an OMC. Mostly what it is, is Kon being dense. Also, I have no idea what school is like for Kon in Smallville. Mostly I'm drawing on my own high school experience *sulky face*

Goldie, this is not anything like what we talked about- that was so plot-heavy that I wimped out on writing it :( but then I had a really nice morning, with pedicures and massages and really nice food, so I wanted to write something cheerful and light. It's still Connor/Kyle, though :D so hopefully it should help!

In further news, kitten countdown : 5 days! Woot! I've picked my new kitten, and will be able to take him home on Tuesday morning. I've booked two days off work for new-pet-bonding time. I'll go tomorrow morning after work and give him a cuddle at the shelter, so it won't be a whole week between him seeing me and being able to come home with me :)

And it seems fairly set that his name will be Poogy. I feel a little bad about this, but, I'm sure, not as bad as he will.

Not that I'm excited :DDDDD

Oh, and also that one to the creepy stalker song.

Well, that's probably the next three months of fic right there.

 I love my FLCS. I walked in this arvo, and my comic shop guys were grinning at me. I won the monthly draw! That means I got a $25 voucher :DDD

They also took a photo of me, which turned out terrible but that always happens *shrug*

I spent it on the Invincible handbook, because why not? and the first two of Salvation Run, because I didn't have them yet.

It made me so happy that instead of taking a nap before I start work, I sat down and wrote the Piper/Trickster bunny that's been nagging me all week. Call it a Porn Thursday bonus!
