[06 Oct 2008|10:06pm] omg_its_kristen It really bothers me that so many people are so against Obama for false reasons. It's really, really sad that people just believe anything they hear without checking out the facts, and then they go around telling other stupid people that believe it all as well. I was talking with someone today and when I asked them why they were so against Obama they said it was because he was sworn in on the Quran and is a terrorist and all kinds of other ridiculous, completely untrue statements. Then they turned around and said since McCain was in the military that makes him a better choice, with no real knowledge of what either of them support. Sad thing is he was being completely serious in all of this. I am not one to argue with other people about who they want to vote for, but at least be able to back up your reasoning with hard facts, not just racist slander. I wonder how many misinformed/uninformed people will go vote based on things that are completely false... 4-COMMENT
