Thank you returning my friend

Go Sabres!

Montreal is out so David Aebischer is out. (Even though they never let him play)

Colorado beat the Stars in 5 only to be swept by the Ducks. So my team is out.

I want the Sabres to win the Cup... they were robbed the last time... totally in the crease, the only reason the goal counted was because it was the longest game ever.

But I would just like the say thank you to the NHL for returning. I missed you and while some of the "new NHL" I find annoying, I like a lot of the changes. I'm just happy to have hockey back. And I can't wait for the skills competition next season :) It's been two years since I've seen an All- Star game.

I <3 Alex... like OMG! tee hee he's like so KeWl*!*

Alex Tanguay scored 1:09 into overtime Wednesday night to give the Colorado Avalanche a 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars and a 3-0 lead in their best-of-seven series.

It's hard not to be cocky going into a game 4 at home with a 3 game lead. Hopefully nothing is being jinxed.

Good job boys!

I can't fucking believe this. Why would you trade a goalie that had the best January in team history for a goalie who has been sucking ass all season, oh and HAS A BROKEN FOOT?!?!?!

I'm so mad/upset/shocked I can't form a coherent paragraph.

O Canada! Our home and native land!

Canada finished with 24 medal at the Olympics, if you go by total medals won that puts them in third place, not too shabby. I just hope they aren't setting themselves up top fall on their faces in 2010 and not "own the podium".

The closing ceremonies made no sense to me. First off... Ricky Martin shaking his bon bon?? What was up with that? It made no sense to me, seeing as Ricky Martin isn't from Italy but had the longest set. Umm... why?

you said you didn't give a fuck about hockey, and I never saw someone say that before

The win gives Canada its 91st Olympic victory, the most by any coutnry.

First off I love that there is a spelling mistake on the CBC website. Second, music and hockey... it's what Canada knows how to do. Oh and drink beer.

7-2 is a very respectable score, but it's nothing like the Canadian women who beat Italy 16-0, that was almost sad to watch...almost. It would have been interesting if the winter olympics had been last year and the males weren't playing in the NHL. I wonder how that would have affected things. They have got to be tired, not to mention all the injuries they have recieved from MHL games. Also I wonder what would happen if only non-NHLers were allowed to play. There are people who are on the same country team together, who in a few weeks when they go back to the NHL will go back to hating and beating the shit out of each other. And on the other side you are playing against other countries with people who are your friends and team mates on the NHL and know you're style.

Finally, I love this: Canada finished the round robin play a perfect 3-0 and outscored its three opponents 36-1.
