A comfortable victory for this video, with A Celebration in second place and not much between the others.

Representing The Unforgettable Fire... The Unforgettable Fire
Won by an even bigger margin. The first version of Pride was runner-up.

Representing The Joshua Tree... Where The Streets Have No Name
This round was pretty close! Streets only won by 6 votes, and WOWY beat ISHFWILF by just 1 vote to claim second place. The long-awaited Red Hill Mining Town video only scored a single vote!

Representing Rattle & Hum... All I Want Is You
A fairly easy win ahead of Desire. Nobody voted for When Love Comes To Town at all.

Representing Achtung Baby... One (drag version)
This one never looked like losing either. Second place *just* goes to the bar version of One, not far ahead of Mysterious Ways and The Fly.

Also representing Achtung Baby... Even Better Than The Real Thing
It looked close for a while, but EBTTRT eventually beat WGRYWH by just 4 votes.

Representing Zooropa... Stay (Faraway, So Close!)
Quite a large victory margin here. Numb was second and Lemon was third.

Representing Pop... Discothèque
Wiped the floor with the competition! Staring At The Sun was a distant second, just ahead of Last Night On Earth.

Representing the Best Of 1980-1990... Sweetest Thing
No competition whatsoever. This song had the biggest lead of any round, scoring 34 more votes than If God Will Send His Angels, which just beat Please to second place.

Representing All That You Can't Leave Behind... Beautiful Day
Very nearly lost its crown to Stuck In A Moment at one point, but won by 8 votes in the end.

Representing the Best Of 1990-2000... Electrical Storm
The highest-scoring winner, with 48 votes. Elevation easily took second place, while The Hands That Built America didn't get any votes.

Yesterday I was with a friend of mine and she was wearing a jacket which was onpen on the front and I decided to look at her tshirt, cause her mom owns a store and she always has cool tshirts. Anyway, the drawing on it was meant to look like a band tshirt and it said "Master of Sauls" O_o and some other stuff in it, and it was all in red and white and the shirt was black. So I'm looking at the drawings of the guys of the fake band and the one in the middle looks an awful lot like Larry... and then I notice that the man on his left was wearing a beanie! I look at him and it was, with all certainty, Edge... So I looked at the 3rd man, and there he was: Bono!
Adam was missing from the drawing, appareantly  "Master of Sauls" is a threepiece band lol

The picture was from HTDAAB era, Larry had really short hair. From left to right it was Edge, looking straight at the camera, Larry, also looking straight at the camera and then Bono, who was looking to the right, at least I assumed it was Bono, cause he was wearing shades and didn't look much like Adam to me...

I wonder what the people that designed that tshirt were thinking...

Sam Roberts will be on The Hour, May 14th, 11pm, on CBC.

The new album, Love At The End Of The World, will be released on May 20th.

And just how brilliant is the new video? I quite like Sam with a pompadour.

and i am not just talking about this particular lj comm i am talking about the entire
weezer fandom

Start your fan fiction! Jon Stewart got out of a car and walked past me into the studio while I was in line today (I didn't get in but got a VIP ticket for another show) and he said in a whispered voice, "Colbert's in that car!"

I did go to The Daily Show last week and before the pass-off where Jon and Stephen talk via satellite they were talking about getting together to collaborate on something "next week"....so this must have been the day they did it. 

I love them!

Meh, All Because Of You won the last round easily. I actually thought Original Of The Species would be more popular, oh well. Last bunch tonight, and then we'll vote on the overall winner!

i was fortunate enough to be able to display them at a local bookstore, so one of the pictures i have here is through the window outside. there's a bit of a reflection, but i think it's a neat shot.
