YIKES, what is going on with me? I never sign on to this or MySpace. It would seem I have a life, but alas, that is sadly not the story.
My life in 4 points:
1. I was transferred to our HQ up in Plano, so I'm finally away from the evil manager I had been plotting against. Okay, so not really "plotting", but I do still hate her.
2. Rolando was laid off April 2nd, so he's been looking for a new place of employment.
3. As a result of #2, we've been staying with Rolando's family. We're in the shed again, which is a slight relief, as I don't think I could survive living in the house with his parents, his sister with her husband and two kids, AND his aunt. FUCK THAT.
4. Marriage is wonderful! Rolando and I have made it a full year and one month. No plans for kids, so please don't ask. :)
So yes, I've been busy, yet I've had so much free time, I don't know what to do with myself. Reading and watching movies consumes most of my time, although I admit that I would be better off with some exercise. Heh.

Other than that tiny detail, not a lot is going on. Work, work, work, as usual. Rolando and I are going over to Mom's today. She's making chicken curry for lunch, so I'm very excited about that. Curry is delicious!
Kristi randomly revealed that she didn't think it was a good idea if we moved in together, just a mere month before we were supposed to move in together. She's now on Rolando's shit-list, and I just don't know what to do. We're trying to find someplace we can afford for ourselves now, so it's been a bit stressful. Wish us luck!

Wow, a month sure does pass by fast. I can't believe it. You know what else I can't believe?
Rolando and I are about THREE months away from our one-year wedding anniversary! How insane is that?! I'm very excited that we've made it. And I really can't wait for another year to pass. And the year after that... *sigh*
I read the entire Twilight series. Twice, over three weeks. I can now say that I am a proud member of Team Edward. Woohoo! Who here's with me?

It's not only rainy days and Mondays that get me down...
I was reading old entries in Rain's livejournal and I got so sad. I read the one where we "broke up" and it really made me realize how much I adore him and how special he is to me.
I'm going to see Twilight again tonight with Rocky - SO exciting. We're going to fully support Cedric Diggory, because he is one hot piece of man meat. *growl*

I got another tattoo! It was my birthday present from Rolando. Now I'm up 6 to his ZERO. HA! But he is planning one, so I'm excited for him! This tattoo was inspired by Shel Silverstein's "Listen to the Mustn'ts" poem. It's the illustration that accompanies it in the book. If you want to see, I'll put pictures under the cut!

It certainly has been awhile since I've posted anything of interest, as I'm sure my wedding interests very few. Each time I sign on, I can't help but feel blank and uninteresting, leaving me to just read through my friend's entries. I think it's time that I say something.
I'm finally able to say that I'm proud to be American, but it's going to take more than a monumental election to change our country. I believe that if Barack can do what he has said he wants to do, we will definitely be in a better place. I honestly don't understand the mindset of some people, hanging nooses and sending racist text message "jokes". We do need change, and this can only help us.
Rolando and I have been married for almost 7 months. No one said it would be easy, and I know that to be completely true. We mostly fight about money. And sex. Sad, isn't it? And what's stranger is that I don't care. I've never been so happy in my life than with Rolando. We're actually in the process of finding a new place to live. Our current apartment doesn't have proper management, they never listen, and it takes them at least twice to fix any existing problems. No frickin' bueno! So my friend Kristi and I found a condo in Oak Lawn and it's not too bad! It's two story with 2 bed/2 bath, an attached garage, track lighting, and a wood-burning fireplace. We've still got about two months to make our decision, so I think it can only get better from here.

Wowza! Happy 2008!
I can't believe it's been almost 6 months since I last posted. SO much has happened, so I'll try and do a quick, 5-minute update.
1. My wedding dress is in! [For those completely out of the loop, the last dress I posted is not my dress. I stopped paying after they told me I had to finish paying and re-sell it. I told them the engagement had gotten broken off when really, I realized I didn't want that to be my wedding dress. They were generally rude and inconsiderate about the whole situation.] For pictures of my REAL dress, go here.
2. MOST of the planning is done. We need to get the florist, the table/chair/linen rental company, our counseling sessions with the pastor, one more bridesmaid done. Those are probably the major parts. As for invitations, I've FINALLY finished designing them and we'll be taking them to Kinko's to have them printed and cut so we can mail them out ASAP.
3. I need your addresses! If I could, I would invite every last one of you, but we're trying to be safe with money, so for those I can't invite, I'll be sending them announcements. With pictures! So yes, give addresses, and I'll give a wedding picture. And I'll make sure the comments are private so no one can steal your address and stalk you.

i'm tempted to buy some lingerie for valentine's day. he's planning on having his sister teach him some massage techniques to give me a full body massage, so i want to do something special for him. any ideas or suggestions? i'm open!
i REALLY like this, so i'm thinking i might go shopping either tomorrow or tuesday.
it's totally going to suck if i start my period. i will curse myself until i die. no questions asked.
