a couple of years ago, i saw a documentary about a bunch of squatters and their housing situation taking place in montreal (french with english subtitles).
the docu is called "squat" with a little circle and lightening bold logo thingie.

another great canadian docu i must dl is "through a blue lens" (which is actually at the downtown library, upstairs) about the drug problem in vancouver, the 2 cops who are making the film, and the junkies they know.
i must own it.
