As promised, I just did a MASSIVE friends cut. Seriously massive. I went from 210 friends down to 112. Almost 100 people. Clearly, when people on your flist start talking all kinds of shit about you, you get a little paranoid. I hope you'll all understand why I had to do this and not be offended. If you're seriously "OMG DID SHE REALLY JUST CUT ME?!?!" shocked and feel like I made a mistake, you can comment and I might add you back. I went a little clicking crazy. There's a chance I didn't mean to cut you. I cut almost everybody. Comments are screened.

The second part of this meme (which you can still do, btw) is: A week later, write an 'about me' post to fill in the gaps in your friends knowledge.

I've thought about doing an 'about me' post in the past, but I never know wtf to write. I don't know what people care to hear or want to know. So, this is where you come in.

I'm not talking "what's your favorite color?" type questions. Real questions. Anything about my life that you don't know, are curious about, have always wondered, etc. Childhood, high school, present day, whatever. Ask as many questions as you want. I just cut 38 people. Reasons: you rarely update, I don't read your journal, I saw your name and said "who?", I don't feel that we have anything in common, etc. If you see that I removed you, please do the same. So, I kinda wanted to make a post about limeybean, but I didn't even know where to start. So I just figured I would share this with you guys. Remember when she made that LiveJournal Awards Meme this summer? Well, I was looking at it like, two days ago. And found something very ironic. One of the categories:

I tried not to think about this all day, but I had to make a post about it.

CHRISTMAS MEME

"I'll Remember You That Way" Meme

Here's the scenario: It's years down the line and we've all moved on from LiveJournal. One day, you're online and decide to look at your old LJ. You're looking at your userinfo page and see your list of Friends. As you're looking over the list, what will you remember about those people? Post your username and people will reply to you (anonomously or publicly) and tell you what they'll remember about you years from now. General things like the way you would stay up all night chatting, the way someone looked, the fandoms they loved, and the way their comments always brightened your day. Specific memories and inside jokes. Anything you'll remember about that person.

Two parts to this one.

1. List your five favorite people on LJ. Whether they're the people you feel closest to, the people you admire the most, or the people who brighten your day just by being on your flist.

2. List the five people on LJ you wish you were closer to. Whether you haven't friended them for whatever reason, or they're on your flist but you're not as close to them as you'd like to be.
