ASK ME QUESTIONS.


The second part of this meme (which you can still do, btw) is: A week later, write an 'about me' post to fill in the gaps in your friends knowledge.

I've thought about doing an 'about me' post in the past, but I never know wtf to write. I don't know what people care to hear or want to know. So, this is where you come in.

I'm not talking "what's your favorite color?" type questions. Real questions. Anything about my life that you don't know, are curious about, have always wondered, etc. Childhood, high school, present day, whatever. Ask as many questions as you want. And, rather than replying to your comments, I will incorporate the answers into my 'about me' post.

This post is public, so you can be anonymous if you really want.

Why did you decide to stop going to school? What was your favorite aspect of high school? Where do you want to be in five years? Did you ever have an imaginary friend? Do you remember the first book you read?

OK SO. I wanna know about your dinners. You're always going AFK for dinner. Do you guys cook every night? Most nights? Never? Do you all sit as a family and eat, and if you do, what else do you do? Have conversations, watch TV? The way you're always leaving gives me the impression that you guys have this traditional family dinner type thing going on. I've never really had that in my family, so I am curious.

I barely even know most of my extended family. I feel like I'm always meeting new people whenever we attend a family event (which have dwindled down to basically just funerals, if you can even count those as a family event).

Example:

My Aunt Donna had my cousin Bobby when she was 16. She got pregnant again a couple years later and decided she couldn't handle another baby. She gave the baby to my Aunt Betty, who happens to be an alcoholic and ended up going to jail for quite a chunk of Jason's childhood. She also happens to be the one who is married to the pothead computer geek uncle. Her first husband cheated on her with the babysitter. They got divorced and he is now married to said babysitter. My Aunt Betty babysits their kids. I wish I was making this shit up.

My family is pretty huge, so I don't know most of the extended family beyond aunts and uncles, either.
