I'm Rachel.
I'm 17 1/2.
I work as a Bookkeeper in my local Hannaford;
Surprisingly, I love it.
I have an obsessive personality
(but, it's not creepy-obsessive, just dorky-obsessive, I swear).
I have high morals, and I stick to them.
I respect myself, and my body,
So I stay drug and alcohol free.
I'm 3/4 vegetarian
(I can't give up my buffalo wings!).
Drinks of choice include water and juices,
No liquor, no soda.
I'm a nerd; I'm President of the TV club at school.
I direct a show for Cable, and I host another.
I'm proud to be a loser.
I've been told that I'm trendy, though I don't try to be.
(Though, lately, I've been a shop-a-holic).
I'm crazy.
(In the fun way, not the sketchy way).
I love being on a Destination Imagination team.
I adore Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
And I live for The Notebook
(Partly because it's an amazing movie, but mostly for personal reasons).
I don't like violence
(But I might threaten to kick your butt).
I love, love, love, love, LOVE movies and music.
I actually like to eat tofu,
And I think thai food is amazing!
I prefer gelato over ice cream,
(I heart Emilianas!)
But, when I can't get gelato, I love Maine Black Bear ice cream.
I'm a leader, I tend to take charge of situations.
I act on impulse,
And I follow my heart more than my head.
I work too much,
And often too hard.
It's been said that I'm the biggest rule-breaker at Hannaford.
When I was younger, I wanted to be a Hooters girl.
The three greatest feelings in the world:
1. Being in love.
2. Making a video. (I still haven't seen Sarsparilla Dreams!)
3. Being in a venue, surrounded by people singing what you're singing, feeling what you're feeling. The intensity, the passion. Live music.

I'm shy; it takes a lot to make me comfortable around someone.
(But, once I am comfortable, you'll wish I wasn't. I get loud and crazy.)
I'm agressive when there is a need to be, but too passive when there isn't.
I love my friends, more than anything.
(They are my back-bone. They give me strength)
If I'm watching a movie, or reading a book, and the character is embarrassed, I feel embarrassed too.
I like to draw, but I can't draw at all.
I love to sing, but I don't think I have a nice voice at all.
I have two adorable kittens,
Some fish, a tropical bird, and a wild bird.
I don't think I can be labeled;
I have "hippie" beliefs,
And I listen to "hippie" music.
But I listen to "scene" music too.
I wear birkenstocks, ripped jeans, bandannas,
band tee shirts, cuffed jeans (rare), sauconys,
I listen to ska, and I love checkers and polka dots
(but not usually together....)
dressy jackets, leather jackets, high heels,
dressy shirts and skirts. I'm just me,
And I think I want it to stay that way.
I'm comfortable with myself (finally),
And I'm okay with the way I look and the way I act.
People tend to abuse my feelings, so if that's what you're after
then just stop now. I can be bitter and spiteful.
Sometimes evil and devious.

A question that's been bothering me lately: What do I stand for? Well, I'll tell you.

I stand for loyalty.
I stand for devotion.
I stand for perseverance.
I stand for hope.
I stand for peace.
I stand for intelligence.
I stand for art.

But, mostly:
I stand for passion.

And, I stand for LOVE.
