I've been wondering a lot about the absence of recent creative writing published by feminists. I haven't come across any other feminist creative writers on the net even. Maybe I missing something. Anyway, I was talking this morning to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dis_senter about it and I had a brilliant idea. I'm going the set up a blog of Radical Feminist creativity and call it Spinning Spinsters. I'm also thinking of hosting some women's performance nights at The Women's Library. I should be able to get material from that to post on the blog. Yay. I'm hoping to get enough material together to publish an anthology. If I do I'll probably apply for Arts funding but then all the contributors will probably need to be Australian. Argh. I hate respecting male territorial pissings. Well, I think these are great ideas. Let's see whether I'll actually do them.
I'm off to yell my lungs out on the streets of Redfern. Bloody fucking government and their racism.
