Falling through aether tears
Lost of a thousand year's resolve.
The deathless dower
of a million songs
disowns me- and I dissolve.

I tread this bridge of twilight
as an orphaned handmaid, in vain,
blinded, banished
in foggy moonless night
drowning in failure, drowning in rain.

O Where is my Master from ages past?
Where are the songs which I sang?
Where are you stars, galaxies-
hold me fast!
I can't find you under this canopy of pain!

Your voice echoes through glittering cosmos
I can't reply, can't speak
The miles before me flow
A million lost lives before me
Wraps my body in memory.

Within me, the ends of the earth are turning
and I am turning within the earth.
Empires burn and rise,
frozen in visible silence
within fragments of melody and words.

O Where is my Master from ages past?
Where are the songs which I sang?
Where are you stars, galaxies-
hold me fast!
I can't find you under this canopy of pain!

I will find you in this boundless aether sea
that fills this infinite space.
I wander, fading in and out of Being,
searching for salvation
for this failed handmaid.

To you my Master, and my purpose I am bound
You are around me, in waking and in dreams
It is me who needs to be found,
all that's left for me to do is to do as eternity,
as I had always vowed.

O Where is my Master from ages past?
Where are the songs which I sang?
Where are you stars, galaxies-
hold me fast!
I can't find you under this canopy of pain!

Whichever the way the wind does blow
I remain with you, now, here, forever,
Learning every song- every song that's one of the same
Ever evolving, belonging to me, to us
within the nest of heaven's embrace.
