1. A condition of motor restlessness in which there is a feeling of muscular quivering, an urge to move about constantly and an inability to sit still, a common extrapyramidal side effect of neuroleptic drugs.
2. An inability to sit down because of intense anxiety at the thought of doing so.
Origin: Gr. Kathisis = a sitting down

*I'm a Certified Pharmacy Technician (C.Ph.T.) in the province of Ontario.
*I live for a night out dancing on Queen St West.
*I work for a hospital under the job title "Radiopharmacy Technician". What this means in layman's terms is that I make radioactive drugs for the Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology departments of five downtown Toronto Hospitals. Yes, because I work with radioactivity I also work with a lot of lead, which makes for many weird bruises if you are a klutz like me. No, I do not glow in the dark or pay any less than you do on my Hydro bill. The job sounds scarier than it really is, and my exposure rates per year are not that much higher and the average Joe.
*I live in my own apartment in midtown Toronto that I absolutely adore. Something I've wanted to do for at least a decade. The growth I've already experienced has been fantastic.
*My friends are everything.
